Best Cable Organizer
Honestly one of my favorite cable organizers I’ve bought.I’ve tried a bunch of different cable management tools, and this one stands out by far. I actually plan on ordering a few more just because of how simple and convenient it is. I’ve used the kind with the magnetic snap that sticks directly to your desk, but I much prefer this setup.I really appreciate how easy it is to just attach the magnet to your cable and pop it back into place. So no annoying re-clipping like the other styles. The magnet is strong, the size works perfectly for any setup, and it looks super clean on my desk.If you’re looking for something that’s both aesthetic and functional for cable management, this is 100% worth trying, especially if (like me) you’ve already tested a bunch of other options.

Great for Cruiseship crew
I love this. Bought one for myself and then for a friend for Christmas. I work on a ship and the base magnetizes to the wall without taking off the film, but I’m sure it works just as well on regular surfaces

Solid Build, But Weak Magnets
The build quality of this cable holder is excellent—sturdy, well-made, and has a nice feel to it. The sticky grip adheres well to the desk, keeping it firmly in place. However, the magnets are on the weaker side. They work fine for standard factory USB cables, but if you’re using braided cables, they don’t hold as securely. Additionally, the magnetic holders themselves feel a bit too small to properly wrap around Anker’s own cables, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s a decent solution for managing lightweight cables, but not ideal for thicker or braided ones.

Helps reduce cable clutter
These little guys are handy to keep on the desk to manage the various charging cables on my desk. When I'm using the item, the cables stay neatly off to the side in their magnetic tray. When I need to charge something I just pull its cable from the tray and plug it in. So simple.

Slightly misses the mark in a number of areas due to cable size limit
First off, I want to rate this higher , the look and build quality are nice but nearly all functional elements just slightly miss the mark. Most of this is related to this being designed for small cables (others have mentioned it and it is mentioned in the product description) but unless your only planning on charging 5 mobile or small devices with their skinny stock cables this may be a mediocre solution for other applications. Here are my 3 main points:1. The actual clips are for small cables only no alternative clips. Since the box has two units in it, it would have been nice to have one with small clips and the other with larger so you could mix and match between the two plates.2. The magnet strength is just on the line of being good enough. Cables stay on but barely you can feel that a light tug can end up pulling it off the plate if it wasn’t for the back stop feature and it makes it feel like you have to put that little bit of extra thought/effort into making sure you got the cable to stick where on a product like this it should be nearly thoughtless ie you got the clip between the ridges and it just snaps in place, not you got it between the ridges and you see the cable moving so you press down on it and watch it for another half second.3. Adhesion pad, the “back stop”, and position (aka leverage and the moment arm). I like that this uses a reusable pad, I hate the alternatives that use a permanent/semipermanent solution that can mess up your surface or require a bit of goo gone after removal. I like the little “backstop” bar that keeps the clips from being pulled off the plate easily. The issue here is that if you plan on putting this near the edge of a surface like most people, it creates a torque on the plate that pries it off the surface over time, and I found that daily when I get into the office the first thing I am doing is pressing the plate back to the desk. To help mitigate this I moved the plate away from the edge about 5 inches from where I had it in the images to help reduces the downward pulling being close to the plate so that most is a horizontal pulling to see if that would help. Mounting it on the edge vertically might help but haven’t tried this yet. But if the plate was a bit wider front to back it with corresponding adhesive pad would give more reaction to the tendency to be pried as shown in one of the images.Again all of these points can be chalked up to using larger heavier cables then this was intended for and their weight is too much. I am primarily using this for my laptop connection (power cord, usb a, hdmi, micro usb) which all but the micro look to be too big. I have 3 other plate to pay around with at home for another desk set up, a device charging area, and for my brother to mess around with, but many of our cables look like they may be pushing the recommended size limit most are anchor brand cables or similar brand. I like the aesthetic design and the build quality so I won’t be returning them and they may work well in our charging area vs the desk set ups, but still give it a 3 for limiting it’s functionality to small cables in a use case that typically calls for a little more flexibility with cable size.

cord organization
I love this thing. I attached it to the top back corner of the place where the laptops charge at night and it prevents cords from being all over the place during the day.

Anker
The cable manament is great with this piece. The clips are good but wish the magnets were just a little stronger. Easy to use with the magnets or the adhesive strip.

Strangely not as useful as I expected
These are smaller than I would’ve thought. The photos make them seem big but they fit in the palm of your hand. To be honest that’s probably a good thing, lower footprint is better. They say these can be reapplied and I definitely agree with that, washing them off and sticking them to a new surface works just fine. I guess I just… didn’t realize you need a very specific setup for these to be useful. If you have charging cables that are very long AND out of the way, this is convenient. If the cables aren’t long, you’ll have to put them somewhere close to you anyways. If they’re in a surge protector on the ground this might be convenient. But it wasn’t really an “objective upgrade” like I assumed it would be. I knew it wouldn’t be necessary, sure, but I’ve rarely found myself going “oh well it’s a good thing I put the cable on this holder, I wouldn’t want to have to reach down and get it.” If you already know you’d need this, it’s good. Low footprint and such. But if you’re on the fence and the only reason you’re leaning towards buying this is “why not” you probably should ask “yeah but why.” It’s really not that practical.
