Jelinek Cork Large Cork Sheet - 24" x 36" x 1/4" Thick

I purchased this product to make a 'World Traveler Map' out of a 51' x 38 ' monster-sized poster/map of the world.It was difficult to find the right cork for the backing -- it needs to be thick enough to hold the push pins, but not so thick that the poster rail can't support it's weight. This cork was perfect; it is thicker than most of the offerings on Amazon and it is high density not that crappy crumbly type you get from other vendors.The Cork Store: The seller was very attentive and followed the shipment and my satisfaction with the product from the get-go. Very impressed with the service and clearly a high quality company who has been in the cork biz (did you even know there was such a thing?? :-) for more than a century. Jelinek -- I like you. A lot. :-)P.S. If you are engaging in such an ambitious and foolhardy venture -- use the right glue, don't mess around. I got the 3M 90 spray adhesive-don't-####-with-me variety. It worked. Make sure your poster doesn't have any wrinkles before laying it down. Afterwards, it's not going anywhere until the Rapture.

This will be ideal for my knife drawer. Plenty of material to line the drawer bottom and cut up a bunch of small pieces to stack side by side to hold the knives up. Both pieces came in perfect condition. They were flat packed so I didn't have to hassle with trying to undo any curl.There was some mix-up with my original order and some delay in getting a replacement, but they always replied to my emails and were always concerned with making sure I was satisfied. Anyone can make a mistake. How they deal with it is what matters. I will always reward good customer service.

It is a large quantity for the price, a great deal. I am using the cork for audio isolation platforms I am building for my stereo amp, preamp and CD player. The units will be placed on the cork to lesson vibrations of the electrical components; the cork is the top layer sitting on plywood platforms supported by soft rubber feet.

I'm impressed with this. It's exactly what I was looking for. I'm putting together a few wall travel maps to use push pins on.
