It works well for cleaning brass for reloading and change in the car if your cleaning brass use dawn dish soap and limi shine take the basket out be careful water will be hot when its done and it does a good job on it.

I suppose if you think you're going to drop in your tarnished jewelry into the water and hit a button and it will start to foam up and eerie/suspenseful music will start playing all around you....and you'll pull out jewelry that looks brand new and sparkly...well, this isn't going to happen.I think if you put in some simple green with your water and ensure anything you put in the bucket is agreeable with this solution, and you run some tarnished jewelry though the longest setting a few times, you'll notice it's gotten cleaner. And some may surprise you how well they cleaned up. Others may not change that much.This does overheat and will throw an error if you try to run multiple sessions back to back. So give it a rest like it tells you in the instructions.I think if you hand polished your jewelry for a start, at least the stuff you wear most often, and each time you wear it, drop it in a bath at the end of the day, you might have a solution to keeping your bling looking pretty nice and shiny for a long time.Since this isn't a miracle cure for what many of us want, I would give this 4 stars. It's certainly fun to play with.Overall, this is a recommend.

I got this to clean jewelry and glasses and was very disappointed ☹️. Doesn't get hot at the max setting of 8 minutes. Times out and quits if you try to use it for more than 20 minutes at time. Added hot water from another source but time limit is 8 minutes which with 1 vibrator coil that is miniscule and barely works it's going to take a lot longer than 8 minutes to clean anything. I've had numerous ultrasonic cleaners and this one is just basically a toy it looks kind of nice but it does not work at all for anything I couldn't even clean coins with it I tried.

Works Perfectly!

The larger size allows larger objects and tools to be cleaned. The cleaner has several different programed run times with a maximum of 8 minutes. The cleaner alone does an okay job and does usually require multiple cycles to get things clean. I have not used any special cleaning solutions, only water and blue dish soap. There is a low audible buzzing sound as the machine operates. It is very low but after a while it does start to become a bit annoying. Running it in another room is an easy enough solution for this though.
