I ordered this to use on a golf cart I was building. The tank arrived earlier than expected and worked flawlessly. The finish on the tank is a little rough but it’s not an issue for this build and at the price point if I needed it polished I could sand and polish it easily. I definitely recommend this fuel tank.

Overall quality of the manufacturing of the tank, I'd give a 7 out of 10 rating... the welds are decent, but the pieces are not lined up properly (see pic, which really don't do it justice), and the rough brushing is very corse, It's not something I would put on a show vehicle for looks. I Can't fill it up to hold the 5 gallons it is supposedly rated for, it leaks out of the vent in the gas cap when mowing (see pics). I have to remember it's not a lawn mower tank, so I'll deal with, it I'm sure it wasn't intended for that much bouncing around, (still food for thought). I bought this tank to replace the original tank on my lawn mower. The lawn mowers tank was plastic and been punctured and I was unsuccessful at 3 attempts to patch it. So this tank was cheaper than an original replacement. I saw where some people were referencing the fuel outlet, mine is a 1/4" female pipe thread, so I used a petcock for a motorcycle tank, that I also ordered of off Amazon. And it works fine. All in all, I had good reasons to leave off the 5th star, but as a builder, I may buy again for another project, where the build quality doesn't matter so much, and doesn't bounce around, and leak from the gas cap.

The primary fuel tank on a generator I picked up had rotted out so I got this one to replace the primary. Works great, no leaks. Holds more fuel than the stock fuel tank did. The cap vents properly to let expanding vapors out and air in as the fuel level lowers. I would buy this again, and maybe soon to use as a secondary fuel cell for an ATV.

I purchased this fuel cell to serve as my diesel fuel tank on my cargo trailer conversion. It was easy to mount with the two included brackets. Keep in mind that the tank has a 1/4 NPT oulet. You may consider ordering one from Amazon since most box stores do not carry NPT fittings. i do recommend this product.

Fantastic fit for the ProR. Now I can go 300 miles without running out of fuel or help a buddy out if he gets in a bind in his X3. Solid made, cap is super tight. Able to tear tail and not spill. Half the price VS speedway motors. I'd recommend!

- Spun aluminum end caps look precisely as expected (and fantastic) - the main tank, not so much. It's a smooth cylinder that someone lazily scored around in an attempt to match the end tank, of which it isn't close.- Gas cap leaks constantly. Using a very popular and common 2 psi fuel system check valve to allow venting. Leaking occurs even when filled at only 85% of rated capacity, speaking of which...- This "7 gallon" tank fills to the fill port at 6.5 gallons. Then to prevent leaking it's almost 1 gallon less!- Contacted seller through AZ and separately via email about these issues - inquiries ignored.

Great price, surface finish a little rough, but suitable for purpose.
