I soaked and rinsed several times as accustomed, but I can see this brand has no grit like some others I've used and blends to a smooth consistency. Great value for the money; a little goes a long way, goes down easy, and NO fishy after taste. Quality product. This is the one I'll be using going forward.

Do not buy this seamoss!!! It is pool grown which has no benefits. I only bought it to compare and see what pool grown looks like. In the picture the left side is from this company. Before opening the bag it felt squishy, there was a punch hole in the bag and when I opened it, it smelled so bad and was still moist with lots of salt. The right side of the picture is real authentic seamoss, which is dry and you can tell the quality difference and it is from the company Elderwise which i purchased through Amazon also. Trueseamoss is definitely not true to what they advertise which is sad. Also in the picture from True seamoss company there is blackish stuff on it. Save your money and actually invest into authentic seamoss that will be beneficial to your health. Don't be fooled by the great reviews. Make sure to do extensive research when buying seamoss!

It's a good sea moss. However even after rinsing and soaking a few times and soaking overnight it still contained a slight fishy smell. I've bought a really good sea moss over the years where the smell went away completely after cleaning and soaking. But once I put it in my smoothie there was no smell so I will continue to use this sea moss for now.

Know this before you buy: THIS PRODUCT IS NOT RETURNABLE OR REFUNDABLE. I fully believe that this policy is because the company knows they are selling shady & downright dangerous products. My bag of ‘sea moss’ contained mold, blue plastic pieces, strings, hair of some sort, and pieces of dirty paper. Essentially, there was trash entangled with my sea moss. It also smelled horrendous, like plastic fumes and chorine. There is NO way this sea moss is something that is safe to put in your body. Even without the literal garbage included in the bag, the plant material is just wrong. It smells off, there are wild variations of color, size, & texture throughout the bundles. By tracing this company’s shipping logs, we found that this sea moss comes from Vietnam - not a location known for quality ocean harvested sea moss. I will not be consuming any of this product, & I highly recommend that anyone considering this sea moss goes elsewhere for theirs. I 100% believe this supplier is negligent and dangerous & consuming their product could harm you.

If you have time to make your own seamoss gel then I highly recommend the raw. It's so much cheaper to make your own.
