Seriously…SO many pills per day. If you don’t really look, you think it’s a great deal that will last over a year….but you’ll get like 100 days out of it and of course it’s the kind of thing where you can’t really feel much of a difference over other more affordable options that only require a single pill per day. If you can afford this stuff, then absolutely go for it….assuming to can handle taking like 5 additional large pills every day. It’s clearly high quality. If you have a tighter budget, then there are more affordable options available for you.

I think this is probably a decent product, but not for myself. Because I am 54, I was looking for a calcium product to help prevent osteoporosis. Since Calcium Gluconate contains less calcium than the common calcium carbonate AND you need to take 6 quite large pills daily to get just 300 milligrams, I think I need to find a different solution. But, that's just me. It might be the ideal supplement for someone who doesn't tolerate other calcium formulas well, and if you are already taking a Vitamin D product, this could be really ideal. Too much Vitamin D is not wise (nor is too little), so if you are taking your correct dosage, a calcium without Vitamin D could be a good answer. This is a large bottle, with 83 servings so the value is definitely there! I think this is a calcium formula that should be talked over and recommended by your doctor before just selecting it on your own. It seems really specific to particular needs and situations. Most women will need more than 300 milligrams a day, and I certainly can't imagine trying to take 8 of these pills a day. As well as despite the advertising, some people do have trouble digesting it. I can see where this is might be perfect for some people, but it might not be the one you want to start with.

My dentist told me that I need more calcium for my bone and teeth. I have not taken any calcium previously. I ordered Calcium gluconate to supplement my calcium intake. Upon opening the box, I noticed it was a large bottle with large capsules. There were no directions on how many to take, but the serving size was six capsules. I took six pills at once on the first day, and my stomach did not like it. I started taking the Calcium Gluconate after eating, and my stomach approved. The capsules do have a certain smell, so it was not pleasant to take the pills, but I know that I need calcium for my bones and to prevent osteoporosis. I am not a vegan, but I have been avoiding meat, so I liked that the Calcium gluconate is vegan. It does not contain any artificial ingredients, which explains the smell. I am planning to continue taking Calcium gluconate until I finish the bottle. I am planning to visit my physician next month, and I will consult her about my calcium intake. Overall, the calcium gluconate is a good value, and the item description was accurate.
