It's not a chunky rug
It's thinner, nice weave with lots of natural colors and that's exactly what I wanted for my covered front porch

Happy but sad
I like both pieces very much however I ordered a third one a 12 x 9 and it’s been delayed day after day. If somebody in Amazon is reading this? Can you please look into it thank you.

Arrived damaged but still servicable
I ordered this Signature Loom Jute Rug to go on the floor in the bedroom. I think it looks great in the spot where I intended it to go. Unfortunately it did get damaged during shipping, as the end of the box had been scraped through, resulting in a number of tears of the jute braid at intervals down the long edge. But instead of exchanging, I decided to work with it since I actually really like it. That shouldn't be too tough to permanently repair with a just a touch of wood glue. Upon opening and unrolling, it had a nice natural smell of jute, and looked fantastic with a subtle but consistent striping pattern. It had a bit of a curl at first, but within a hour or so on the floor, it was laying completely flat. Its size is fairly accurate at 37"x59", certainly acceptable for being a handmade item. Other that that little bit of damage, I have no complaints. Do I recommend it? Yes, but I also recommend to the manufacturer to add some kind of protection around the ends in the box to prevent future instances of this kind of damage. It's very attractive, and seems well made. I can't speak for its longevity or durability yet, but I'll update if any issues arise.

Softness
Loved size color and binding. Did not like the material because it was too hard to walk barefoot.

Color not as pictured
Color shown was called natural but the color is not the same in person. Very much a brown. Did not work at all. Sent back.

no foul odor and tightly woven
This is the first real quality jute rug I've purchased. I stumbled upon this realization as I unrolled it from packaging. The tightly woven design is a first for me. This rug is firm but formidable. THe color variation of natural brown is stunning. The lack of any foul or unpleasant odor was pleasing as well. I've read reviews that stated some items such as these can be unpleasant. Not with this rug. Just the aroma of natural jute. Cleaning this rug should be simple. I usually drape my jute rugs over a large item outside and spray it real good with a garden hose. Let air dry outside. . I've included a video to support my rave for this rug.

Unfortunately, these rugs don’t hold up well even in low traffic locations.
I purchased 2 of these rugs for light traffic, indoor, entrance ways at my home. I did need to use some rug tape to keep the corners down but once that was done, they looked really great. However, within a few months they both frayed and turned ‘fuzzy’ from very light use/traffic and didn’t look so great. In the beginning I tucked/wove loose ends back in to the rug and later I tried trimming the loose pieces but the rugs didn’t look nearly as nice. These rugs are indoors on top of LVT with light foot traffic from 2 adults who don’t wear shoes in the house. After a few months, I moved one of the rugs to an entrance under a large covered porch. The rug looks nice in its new location on the porch and is out of the elements so we’ll see how long it lasts.

Was really looking forward to this item as it looks beautiful on line. However, it simply does not arrive. I've requested it twice now and nothing so i'm giving up. Very disappointed.
