dangerously powerful
These magnets are very strong. In fact, they are so strong that some care needs to be taken when handling more than one at a time. I was removing them from a box of 4, and if they get very close to one another, they quickly join. The tip of my finger got between two, and I needed a quick tissue to stop the bleeding. :-( But when mounted to a wall or shelf, they work well to hold any magnetic tools, etc. And they are easy to use, as long as you are careful around magnetic objects while handling them

Mystic Stones of Gripping Power
By thunder and iron, these rare earth relics cling with strength most unnatural! Though small in form, they bind as though enchanted by dwarven smiths in the deep halls. They heed no wind, no jolt, no protest—they hold fast as if by Odin’s will. A fair sum of coin for power unseen. Beware—these magnets brook no weakness!

Strong magnet.
They're real good strong magnets.

Not bad, not great!
Overall good, though I had one broken magnet and a few others with rough surface finish, likely to crack with minimal impact/use.

Not magnetized in pairs
I can't give them a lower rating than 5 because they were everything that they claimed to be, but note that these aren't magnetized in pairs, so half of them aren't magnetized one way and half are magnetized the other. They are all magnetized the same way, which is fine if they are all attached to objects that mount to metal, but not useful if you want to use them for things like cabinet doors.

The fix for a pocket door that doesn’t want to stay closed.
These are awesome if you have the need to screw a magnet into a surface. The only negative is it’s not initially clear that you just need a washer opposing it. You will be unable to have two of these magnets screwed into two surfaces and not repel each other. The hollowed out area for a screw head only exists on one side. I know it says neodymium. Yet, these don’t seem to be as strong as magnets I’ve ordered before. I’m not sure they were the neodymium means 100%. I think it just means there’s some in it. They could be weaker because a magnet of similar size without a hole in it has literally more magnet. Now that rare earth elementsare being fought for- countries invaded- China creating infrastructure around them- I would stock up.

Very strong take care handling
I broke one on my first use. ALL my fault. The instructions say be careful, they are not kidding. This kind of magnet is brittle. It can break. You cant downgrade a magnet whose characteristic is brittleness for being brittle:). I screwed a snail maybe 2 “ dowel rod in a few of mine so I have a handle to work with. I use them with the plastic spacers tapes to them for crack repairs in guitars. They would hold up decent size tools. Shoot even the prices of the ones that broke, yes, I broke more than one, are pretty powerful. If you carry too many as you approach your vehicle.........we’ll just be careful!

Not graded, random polarity and hole size incorrect
This review is for the .47" (12mm) x .12" (3mm) size Neodymium magnets with countersunk hole. The magnets themselves are decent enough with a reasonably strong pull. All arrived intact. The reasons for downgrading the stars are for lack of information, incorrect specifications and inconsistent polarity: 1) The grade value is not provided (N35, N40, N45...N52) which is generally an indication of pull strength, so it is difficult to compare to other brands/models. 2) The screw hole size is incorrectly listed as for a #4 or 3mm screw. Another review indicated this, but I did not see that before ordering. I measured the hole diameter as .17" or more than 4mm, so better for a #6 screw. The hardware I ordered to secure these is too small and the screw heads slip right thru the hole! 3) The polarity is random. For magnet to steel applications that won't matter, but for magnet to magnet applications like mine it will. In this batch I received a mix of 21 which were North polarity on the countersink side, while the other 39 were South polarity on the countersink side. Apparently the vendor does not care what you get. This makes the majority of the magnets I received unusable so I will be returning them.
