Not sure, but it fits inside a 5/8" hose snug

Can this be used with 3/4” pex water line?

I bought it for 5/8" garden hose. Not sure if it will fit pex. But I can tell you that you would need pex crimps if it does. It came with regular hose clamps. The quality of the fitting is excellent.

Are the threads GHT or 3/4" NPT?

These are designed to work with standard American garden hoses that are 3/4" inside diameter. I used silicone self-fusing tape over the hose clamp to make it slide smoothly and not cut hands.

some guy complaining about leaks on his hose and blaming these connectors. I have never in my life seen such idiots before ??

Seems to work okay when tightened up properly. However the clamp is an irritation, I am putting some tape around it.
