Zoetrope
Although the zoetrope was quite small, I was so impressed with how easy it was to see the moving pictures. The children in my class loved it. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

Very functional and educational.
Although it's quite small, it does the job and there are plenty of pictures to use and the are plenty of blank cards to make up your own pictures. I have a real interest in how movies developed over many years, which is why I purchased this delightful toy. I also bought it for my daughter to use in school with her very young school children. I am preparing an easy to understand history of the Zoetrope, it's predecessors and successors to help them understand. The toy is well made and should last.

Sometimes the simple toys are the best!
I bought this as a random stocking filler for my 7 year old, and he loved it so much he spent most of the week after Christmas playing with it, eschewing much more expensive toys, and I even had to print and cut extra blank frame-marked paper slips for him to keep drawing more animations. Wonderful toy.

Great fun
This was bought for a six year old as a surprise. His first words on opening it were ‘I’ve got a real Victorian toy’. (He hasn’t yet realised the Victorians didn’t have plastic, but ….). He loves it and enjoys helping his younger brother play with it too.

My son was happy with this
It’s quite small but does the job. It came with far more film strips than I expected so that’s a win. It also had a good number of blank strips so my son was able to make his own animation. It spun smoothly. Small but well made.
