Black color, belly is yellow. These little snakes can be used in terrariums, dioramas, fairy gardens and doll houses. They are also great for diy plastic toy animal crafts, jewelry making, mixed media & art assemblage and many more arts & crafts projects. A great halloween decoration prop! The best thing about these snakes is the realistic look they have and the unique rubbery feel. NOTE: There will be a little rubber smell when the first time use.

Fantastic and very realistic
Very realistic. My wife refused to open the package. Note that they are pre-formed to sit in a coil as pictured. They will stretch out but they will maintain a desire to bend. Our project required that one snake coil in the opposite direction. By using very hot water (near boil) and with a little patience, we were able to reverse the coil. The same technique could be used to straighten out the snake if necessary. They are well made and heavy duty. The skin is very slick not unlike the real reptile. They will not hold glue. We attempted to use a very hot glue gun in order to tack the snacks together but the glue will not stick to this rubber. In the end, we used wire which can be punched through the rubber. All said we are very impressed with these snakes and they were the perfect foundation for the Medusa head piece that we were building.

Useful Rubber Snakes
Can't believe how much difference a rubber snake can make in one person's life - mine!I live in a bird-rich environment and that means mess on the patio from creatures that seem to prefer sleeping on my patio railing instead of in a nice tree nearby. As I result I was getting fed up with bird mess on the patio every day. Also tired of more birds coming to gather any crumbs from my morning patio breakfast. Cleaning up the droppings was a daily thing. Not anymore! These realistic, soft, gummy-worm-like snakes are now keeping my patio mess-free. I do move them around often, and I enjoy picking up the snakes by the tail to let them uncoil and then stretch out a bit. It's like a pet but again - no mess. The head and first 8 inches of the snake do tend to keep coiled up a bit, but the rest of the body unwinds and will stay as placed. They are a good solid type of tacky rubber and I am very pleased with them.

Don't know how it would have worked out. Bought the rubber items to try. That's why the low rating.
This story seems very unlikely but it is very true. All of the sudden for about 2 to 3 weeks, I had a bird do do problem where they were using my car. NO LIE...This would happen 3 times a day and found myself trying to keep up with them washing it off because it can do harm to the paint job. For the life of me, I could not figure out what to do so I was buying the fake snakes, spiders, and other fake creatures to put on my car to try to keep them away. If you look at the other fake rubber items I bought just after this rating, they were for the same reason. SO GET THIS! It was Easter Sunday and the kids around the neighborhood were tossing plastic filled Easter eggs out in the neighbors front yards. That night I found 2 of them in my yard but didn't know who or what they were for. So, I had asked my neighbor who happened to be outside that night and said the kids were tossing them in everyone's front yard. I'm not much of a candy eater so I set them between the hood and windshield of my car. The next day, I noticed the bird do frequency decreased by 99%. Then I decided to put 2 real eggs out from the fridge and the bird problem completely vanished. I couldn't figure out why but finally did after about 2 weeks of scratching my head with the mystery, the mystery was no mystery at all. How I figured it out? I walked out one morning to find 2 bigger crows going after the eggs that one got a hold of. Mystery solved. What do little birds do not like? Big birds. Problem solved. I actually don't even need the eggs anymore. THANK YOU KIDS!

Realistic looking
This is a great looking snake. We use it on our open back porch and drape it over a piece of patio furniture. We move it regularly from one piece of furniture to another. After several weeks of use I can say with certainty that so far the birds that regularly sat on my furniture and pooped have decided they do not like the snake. My furniture is staying mu nicer. This snake looks realistic, and I love it.

Most realistic appearing !
Yen Jean snakes are well worth their cost!!! I bought them to keep chipmunks from my garden--- they look most realistic than other companies snakes. Held up outdoors through sun and water. I will be adding to my snake pen for next year!!!Jaweb

Looks VERY real, great for halloween!
We used these for a haunted house, and frankly, I hate snakes and these really skeeved me out. They look very real, even in daylight, and move around just right if you hang them from above. They also held up well for 3 weeks outdoors in the sun and rain.

Very realistic looking!
We purchased these to scare away the birds from the string lights on our covered patio. Worked great! Unfortunately, we have scared several people we forgot to tell like the pest control guy.
