I ran out of moisturizer while traveling and picked up this moisturizer from a shop owner's recommendation ("It's French," she told me, as if it were a given that all French skincare was great -- and maybe she's right). I didn't expect much, I just needed something to tide me over. But it turned out I liked this moisturizer much better than the one I used before. I have normal skin, but it's used to 70-80% humidity, and it needs a lot of moisture help. Panier's rich face moisturizer has the richness and moisture I need without being too heavy. It also has a flowery scent that I find pleasant. I also don't like "absorbent" moisturizers; I like my skin on the dewy side, and this fits the bill. This is my second purchase of the product (one from the store, one from Amazon).

I was looking for the European face cream and came across this one! Ordered and didn’t regret! It smells good and has deep oily texture moisturizing and effective! I will order another one for my mom as a Christmas gift!

This cream sounded amazing and the reviews are fantastic. However, when I tried it, it peeled the top layer of skin off my face. It was painful and my face is still bright red two days later. I’m probably allergic to something in it, as I seem to be the only one with a serious issue. Adding: the company reached out to me and offered a full refund of the face cream. They said they would be doing intense testing for potential allergens moving forward. I’d be willing to try it again if there was a different formula. They did not ask me to change my review in any way. I am adding a star for outstanding customer service.

Adds moisture without grease. And rated very good on YUKA

Unfortunately this product is not for me. I've got an allergy, my skin near eyes was covered in red bumps and corners of my eyes became itchy, and 2-3 days later when i stopped using this cream all came back to normal. I liked the smell and package tho. Cream itself on the heavy side, its pretty thick.
