At first we though the book was broken because there is a button on the back of the book the says press for sound, which didn't work even after switching the power to on. My daughter asked if she could please open the first door just too see if it worked since we thought it was broken and low and behold the sound worked! I guess the back of the book is just showing you the book has sound.

This is disappointing because it should have more actual things that are art activities to do or actual bob ross collectibles. I have watched every episode of his show. As an artist I was very disappointed. As a fan, There are just so many fun things that could be done with this and the opportunity was definitely missed by a huge amount. I would not recommend this to any bob ross fan. I think bob ross would be disappointed in it as well. I can watch him paint for free online and hear him. He sounds like he is in space. The box it comes in seems like it holds really fun things in it. And it does not, just printed words. It said activities ornaments, and more, so far there are no activities to do and one paper ornament, It is not worth buying unfortunately.

Sadly this was a waste of money. It’s a nice idea and I personally am a big Bob Ross fan, but this product is poor quality, lame, and cheap. Most of the days in this advent calendar are quotes printed on the thing. The “ornaments” included are cheap pieces of paper on gold string. The “activities” advertised are all printed ideas that would require you to go buy products and, frankly, they are obvious / common holiday activity ideas. For example, one says to go buy a gingerbread house kit and make a Bob Ross-inspired gingerbread cabin. I didn’t need to buy an advent calendar to read Bob Ross quotes and activity ideas. This should be as advertised and include small items to use in activities and the ornaments should be nicer and made out of longer lasting materials.

My daughter loved this because she is into art. Adorable trinkets inside and the unique recordings of his voice were bonus.

I love Bob but I was very disappointed in this advent calendar. The majority of the doors don’t contain any items, just quoted or “activity ideas”. While it is cool that it plays Bobs voice it’s not worth the nearly $30 I spent on it for a couple cheaply made ornaments

Delivered promptly but sound didn't work and a few of the doors had been opened. Started return process and requested replacement. Second one was delivered yesterday and the sound buttondoesn't work. Going to try to find batteries (watch size) and hoping it solves the problem. very disappointed as this is a gift

Soooooo disappointed!!!!! This is a joke. There’s nothing of any value. Every day is either a just a quote of Bob’s, a recording of him saying a sentence or a cheap piece of flimsy cardboard that they call a “ornament”. Total waste. My 11 year old that loves Bob Ross was so disappointed about how cheesy and cheap this was. I get her a Advent Calendar every year and this is by FAR the cheapest, most disappointing one I’ve ever seen. It’s a total joke and a disgrace to Bob Ross. Pathetic, greedy people praying off of a good person’s legacy. It really is pathetic. There isn’t $2.00 worth of anything in this!!!!!!

It was not worth the cost. We got a laugh out of it but it might be very disappointing for some. The ornaments were just a piece of round, thin paper. The activities were suggestions of things to do, not a specific painting activity like I assumed. It was go make cookies with friends or build a gingerbread house...really? Even the recorded message was underwhelming. I wouldn't have felt ripped off if it had been around $10, but not worth $25 at all.
