DK Eyewitness Spain

Nice easy to read book with lots of great ideas for exploring Spain rather than just sit on a beach. This country has so much history go and enjoy it

Looking at which areas to visit and what attractions there were.

We have in excess of 20 DK books on various cities and countries and regularly browse through them to remind us of past trips. One of the main highlights of the books is the extraordinary number of colour photographs which enable rapid decisions on what to see to be made, particularly when on the road.This new production is excellent in content but dismal in the quality of production. It now resembles any other guide book which uses newsprint paper and thin covers. The glossy paper of the past is gone as is the resultant quality of the photographs.This was the main reason for purchasing DK guide books as one would normally go to Lonely Planet or other books to get detailed descriptions and content. We have a new edition of the Lonely Planet Spain, as well as this recently published DK book, and will probably just take the lonely Planet book with us when we head to Spain soon. We will not purchase additional books from DK Eye Witness in the future.
