Superior quality incense.
This incense is perfect for what I wanted. I wanted stick incense for it simplicity and didn’t want to burn a foot of bamboo along with the incense. The smell is great and the stick is just the right size for a living room. I don’t burn a lot of incense, but I like it on occasion. It burns really clean too. I would definitely buy again.

Yes
Smells great! I burn a lot of Nag Champa but wanted an alternative to burn sometimes. This is obviously more expensive but a nice occasional burn. Comes with a tiny square to assist in burning stickless sticks that is pretty handy. The box is good for tiny item storage after you are done and continues to smell great.

Excellent Quality, Low Smoke
These smell fantastic and they burn with just a mild amount of smoke. Definitely not enough to make any sized room feel smoky. I love how far the scent travels when they're lit. I'll light one downstairs in my kitchen and when I run upstairs to grab something from my bedroom, I can still smell the Sandalwood all the way upstairs. It has an almost sweet tinge to it that's pleasant for all the right reasons. I find it calming and relaxing and enjoy lighting one when I wake up in the mornings and then one at night before I go to sleep. I just ordered my 2nd box today and am looking forward to burning them through the rainy forecasted weekend.

mild rich scent
I just started getting into Japanese incense. Before this I would burn cheap incense from my local home good store or dollar tree. My family would complain about the strong burnt smell they would give off. I was also starting to be concerned about what chemicals I was also inhaling when I would burn the cheap stuff. After a little research I purchase the nippon kodo Kayuragi Incense Sticks after reading a couple of recommendations. At first I was disappointed because of the mild scent. It not overpowering like the cheap chemical of the cheap incense I was use to smelling. After my nose adjust I noticed the smell was amazing and would soon fill the room with a light but very expensive smell. A aroma like an expensive perfume would be the best way to explain it. None of the chemical or burnt smell. My wife instantly notice the difference and told me how much she loved it. Another difference the sticks are a little smaller than your regular incense cheap incense stick that I was use to burning and they burn for about 20-30 min.

LOVE IT!!!!
Is this what real sandalwood smells like? If so, it's absolutely divine!! I love it! The moment I first opened the package and got hit with the scent, I just had this moment where my brain was like, "Oh. OH. HOLY CRAP." I'm used to the conventional incense sold in stores, so I totally wasn't expecting it. I can't stop opening the package just to take a sniff, it just smells so niiiiiiiice. It makes me want to roll around in it until my skin soaks the scent up or something. This doesn't smell anything like previous "sandalwood" I've burned before...and the box it comes in looks really nice! It even came rolled up inside a reference paper of other scents the company sells. It is smaller, but I think it's worth the price. There's no core, so it doesn't have that pungent, burnt wood smell underneath. You know how some incense sticks smell great in the package, but smell awful once it's burning? These aren't like that. It smells just like as it comes in the package! Because of that, the scent feels lighter and less pungent, however it does burn FAST. But the scent is strong when it burns, and once it's all burnt up, it still lingers in the air like really nice, subtle perfume. Whenever I turn my head, I catch it and it's absolutely wonderful. For reference, I burnt these around 4:40-ish and it's 1:38 AM now, and I can still smell it. On the downside, the sticks are fragile because of the lack of wooden core, so you'll have to be careful handling it, and again, it burns really fast. I'm not sure how it might smell in a larger space, but I burned these in a decently-sized bedroom. Also, these are fairly expensive for incense sticks, so the smaller size and fast burning might be something to think about if you're strapped for cash. I kinda bought these on a whim, but now I'm hooked. I think I'll prefer this style of incense from now on!

Finest incense on the market
This is finest quality Japanese incense. Beautifully fragranced, long-lasting. I have used the Aloeswood incense for years to create a subtle, soothing atmosphere in my home.

Very Nice Scent
I am pleased with the scent of this incense. It's not overbearing. My only complaint is the size. It's not like a normal sized incense stick. It's short and not as thick, so the burn time is short. I am pleased with the scent of this incense. It's not overbearing. My only complaint is the size. It's not like a normal sized incense stick. It's short and not as thick, so the burn time is short. Update: This scent of this incense is pungent; but in a good way. The scent is lasting. I have OCD, so it's really hard for me having - not only 2 cats - but their litter as well. I love cats. And - as you may know - a cat's litter can 'pack a punch.' I have tried many methods - including a product named Pooph; which is expensive and useless. I DO recommend this incense if you are looking for a real scent remover within your home.

Splendido, piccoli ma molto efficaci, non sporcano e il profumo è persistente

Gorgeous smell that stays in your home for several days meaning that one stick of around 20 cms can make your home smell like sandalwood for at least 48 hours. The burn lasts around an hour and the ash can be collected in the container to ensure the mess is contained. Really good quality for the price.

Bravo, Nippon Kodo !
