Nicely machined. Accurate to size. Be aware that a BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) is not a taper thread, but is parallel. It has a different thread pitch and angle from imperial standards. Thread dope may or may not work. A washer or o-ring should be used. I used these adapters on a power washer unloader.

Incorrect item description. This is BSP on both sides. Will not woke to convert BSP to American. False information on listing.

if you have to replace the starter valve, otherwise known as the unloader valve, you will probably do so with a valve that has 1/4 NPT thread.....but the original starter valve has a different thread 1/4 BSPP. If you try to thread 1/4 NPT into 1/4 BSPP, you will cross thread the compressor

I used this adapter to connect a 1/4" BSP Iwata airbrush hose to the 1/4" NPT male connector on the outlet of my Badger 180-1 compressor. A few turns of teflon tape on both ends and a leak-free connection. Parts came faster than I expected. Bummer that you have to buy 2. Another chunk of brass rolling around in the bottom of the tool box.

Good quality and value

This is 3/8 BSP on both sides. Fraudulent item description and needs to be corrected or removed from Amazon. You won't be able to use this to adapt US to European plumbing.

These brass fittings began to splinter off threads and crack internally. Would not recommend!

FYI, BSPP requires a gasket, and these do not have one.
