I bought this collar back in January 2019 and my dog is a wild man (anatolian shepherd/bull mastiff mix). He is now 9 months old and weighs 85Lbs already. He ended up breaking the first one after a few months but I failed to not realize how strong he would be/become. I sent an email to the company explaining what happened and so they prompted me to send it back and they would but a heavy duty D ring on it. I got it back in the mail very quickly and they ended up sending me a brand new one which was totally unexpected. He has worn the new one for a few weeks now and it seems to be holding up fine. Highly recommended.

I was pretty excited about this item. For about $35, I was expecting a pretty nice collar for my dog. However, this feels cheap and not at all like the material of a firefighter's coat. It looks nice, and personalization was as ordered. Personalization is heat transfer vinyl. It would have been nice if it was embroidered. We will still use the collar, just disappointed, and not expecting it to last very long.

Excellent gift for a firefighter's dog! Large collar is plenty big enough for our 75lb boxer (with room to spare) and leash is strong with tangle-proof metal clasp that turns with the dog's movement. My man also was impressed by the metal clasp on the collar. He made us go for a long walk the second he opened it and threw the dog in his truck to show her off to the department.

Inferior quality for what I paid.

I purchased this for our Golden Retriever puppy, Blaze. It’s made from what seems to be real turnout gear material. We’ve owned this for over 2 years now, and I recently used it on another pup we have! It’s great quality and I received tons of compliments! I bought a matching leash, too. I definitely will purchase again!

My boyfriend is firefighter and together we purchased a Akita puppy back in March 2019. I saw this about it in April 2019 and purchased a large. Our dog is 10 months and around 100 lbs, it still fits him and has been able to grow with him as he gets bigger. My boyfriend also lovers this collar because it has our dogs name on it, but it is also is really good quality. We have also gotten other comments from other people at the Fire Hall. I just hope that he doesn't out grow the large because we really love the collar.

Took me 7 years but i was finally selected to become a fire fighter. My family has been waiting to hear the news and it was pretty amazing to get this collar for my dog Pongo and use it as my way to tell the family. He walks into the house and my mom notices it right away and tells me how nice it is and then I tell her. "Pongo just wanted to match his dad". My mom jumped up and down cheering. An amazing moment. But as far as the collar. It's pretty sturdy thus far. I love that it was able to be customized. I will probably order another in black.
