Great bag for daily commute
I returned the “blush tan” one I purchased because I did not like the color, which does not look like the picture. The actual item is kind of a mix between taupe and mauve. I ended up buying it elsewhere in black. The bag itself is great. I use it for my daily commute (which involves about 2 miles of walking). Large interior capacity (which is large enough to hold my lunch, a stack of documents, and all of my usual purse items, with room to spare, could probably also accommodate a slim laptop and a cardigan or light jacket, even with all the other contents). The outer side pockets are perfect for a water bottle and umbrella, and the front pocket holds my keys and small miscellaneous items. Note that the front pocket does NOT lock (the zipper just slides through a band of fabric), so I would not recommend using that pocket for valuables, particularly if wearing the bag in a crowd or high-theft area. The locking feature on the top is a nice feature, both attractive and appears to provide good security, once you figure out how to work it. LOVE that the straps can be tucked into the luggage handle sleeve on the back so it can be carried from the top handle (which I switch to when I get to the office). The bag is comfortable to wear for me (I am 5’7” and have the straps adjusted to the shortest length), but I agree with other reviewers that it would likely sit too low on a petite person’s back and probably not be comfortable that way. The only thing I would change is the pink interior - it does make things easy to find inside, but I’m just not a pink person and would prefer a neutral color like beige or tan. Still giving it 5 stars for functionality and looks.

Perfect replacement for my Osprey daypack for airplane travel!
I have been looking for a replacement for the daypack I got as part of my Osprey Farview, and alternatively for my Longchamp Le Pliage. My daughter had recently bought an item from PacSafe and really likes it, so of course I went to PacSafe's website. I saw this backpack and immediately was attractive to it because it was not too big, was lightweight, had a fairly slim line, and it worked as a personal item for international travel. I started looking for reviews on YouTube (as well as for reviews of comparable items and came across a number of recommendations. Some people absolutely loved it, and some pointed out a few negatives. Given the cost and the fact that I would need it to be shipped internationally, I hesitated and kept looking for other suggestions. A few weeks ago, I saw that the PacSafe store on Amazon had lowered the price (I think because they introduced a new model,) and I decided to jump on it. It arrived to me within the week, and I have to say, it far exceeded my expectations! It is the same length and width as my Osprey, but its outer pocket is larger (which was something I was looking for), and it not only can hold my iPad, but my 15" MacBook can also fit along with other items. It is lightweight like my Longchamp (which I also use for travel) but easier to carry and looks stronger. It fits more than either of my other personal item. I s can also throw my Le Pliage into is as in case I should need it. Even better, it is nice looking! I am not a young backpacker, and I hate looking too touristy when I travel. Some people have commented that it doesn't fit well for shorter people. I am 5'1" and have no issues with it (I did a test pack just to see). Generally, I also travel with a small roll-aboard so I am not carrying it on my shoulders for a long period of time. The fact that I can slide it onto the handle was a positive that my other two personal items did not have.

Stylish and safe for travels
I took this bag on an overseas trip and it was great. I like the theft-proof latch and strong fabric, and I added a small carabiner to the outside pocket zipper for travel through the train stations or streets. The large top opening and lighter inside color made it easy to find stuff that was inside, but sometimes it was hard to zip without using both hands. It’s a very good backpack overall; both stylish and safe.

I have a Love/Hate relationship with this bag
I was traveling to Italy/Greece and a friend recommended this bag to me. Everyone knows that pickpocketing and stealing is a major concern in Europe. She suggested this bag due to the locking capabilities. If sitting outside, you can lock it around a table or to another bag. There are some pros and cons. The pros: 1) The locking feature works great. It is easy to slip the strap around a table leg or anything to decrease the chances that your bag would be stolen. 2) I love the size of the bag. It easily replaced my laptop bag that I usually carry on the plane. I was able to put a change of clothes, snacks, my laptop and a lot of other things in the bag and carry it on the plane, along with my purse. The size is GREAT! 3) The security feature. If used properly, the pockets are able to eliminate someone from stealing your identity and information from your passport and credit card. I didn't have my ID stolen so I guess this part worked the way that it should. 4) The material is great and easy to clean. A washcloth with soap easily cleans the material and keeps it looking great. CONS: 1) There was only one con but important enough to totally annoy me. As stated, I used this bag for everything, including my laptop. I did not bring another laptop bag. I have a 15 inch screen Lenovo. Very thin. It fit in the pocket fine and there seemed to be enough padding in the laptop pocket to secure it well. This is including TSA, sliding it under the seat on the plane and sliding it on top of my luggage when in transit. The way the top of the bag zips was very annoying. There are steal posts at the top which open like a satchel. I had to zip the bag around the top of the bag and it was really difficult to zip and unzip when my laptop was in it (which was 90% of the time. I wish there was a little more room at the top so that it clears my laptop much easier. OR if the zipper zipped straight across, I wouldn't have this issue. Again, this was the only con of the bag that I can think of at this time, but it was so annoying that it made me want to return it and either get a larger bag or one with a different closing option at the top. Overall, though it is a good bag and I would recommend it. If you have a smaller laptop, I sure you would be super please with it and, though pricey to some, it is definitely worth the money.

Nice bag. Great personal item sized carry-on bag
My husband and I a city hopped around spain, Portugal and Morocco this summer and this bag was a lifesaver. Our checked luggage got lost so we only had my carry-on, his carry-on and this bag for 2 weeks of our 3 week trip. This bag not only was safe and secure because of the anti-theft features, it also is roomy enough to serve as a pseudo carry-on and the bright lining inside makes it a little bit easier to see things in the bag. The bags compartments and straps are made out of a durable, comfortable material and the hardware is very high quality. There's lots of extra cushioning on the panel that faces the carriers back so even when carrying books or trinkets back to our hotel room, we were never in any kind of pain from poking or prodding. It was comfortable for both myself, a taller than average woman, and my husband, an average size guy, to carry. The bag is very deep and it's difficult to zip up if it's not seated on a table or a chair or something but that's part of the anti-theft features of this bag. If it's difficult to unzip it follows that it might be difficult to sit back up. Either way, that should not deter you from this bag. I personally loved it. It's very comfortable to carry for multiple hours and has lots of pockets and ruminate for everything you need. If you're a more condensed traveler you may be able to use this as a small carry-on for a weekend trip. I cannot say enough about this bag and I'm very happy I purchased it. Well worth the price. Will definitely be using many times in the future.

Great, comfortable bag even when overloaded
Last year my daughter and I spent two weeks in Italy, via Montreal. I STUFFED this bag with electronics, chargers, snacks, water bottle, toiletries, a change of clothes, etc. to the point that this 67 year old had a bit of trouble carrying it by the handle--heavy!--but when on my back I could walk across the biggest airports, etc. with ease. It fit under the seat of the five different planes we took, in the overhead compartments of the trains, and it looked chic the entire time. As long as you accept the fact that it will NOT open in a flash, and get some practice with the locking mechanisms before you go, it's a perfect traveling companion. I highly recommend this and just wish I had the $$$ to head out traveling with it more frequently.

Perfect travel companion
I saw this bag in one of this high priced luggage stores. Initially I was impressed by the cute color, but after the store clerk demonstrated all this bag had to offer I knew I had to have it! I went on a 10 day trip across Europe. We did a few days in Paris, then Italy, then Greece, and lastly we did a day trip to London. When I say this bag was my best friend all the way, it could not be overstated. This bag was the perfect personal item on my flights and the best of all was using it for day trips as well as shopping. There is a lot of pickpockets but I felt completely secure even in the crowded areas with my bag locked. It has a million pockets and compartments for storing things like water bottles, Ipads and even a change of clothes. I used this bag every day all day and it held up nicely. Greece was super dusty so we came back pretty dirty. I was able to wipe the bag down and it was like new again. The best part for me was this bag is pretty and light weight. I have problems with my back and can’t do a lot of weight like with my regular backpack. This was totally worth every penny! I would purchase it again and have recommended to all my friends and family. Oh the other great thing about this bag is that your things are securely locked away so you don’t have to walk around with your backpack across your chest. So many people are walking around Europe that way trying to avoid pickpockets. Save yourself the trouble and just buy the bag!!!

Great!
I bought this for a trip to London in January. I toted it wayyyy after my trip until around June. It’s a decent size. You can put a 32 oz hydroflask in the side pocket. I love the RFID security pocket inside. And the security features built in. I never felt like anyone would be able to take my purse while traveling. I will mimic what some others said in their reviews. It’s hard to close with just one hand. You have to clasp both sides together in order to zip it up. It takes some getting used to to undo all the security features to get in it. It can make you feel somewhat rushed at checkout lines. It’s a good weight, durable and versatile. It snowed while we there and nothing inside got damaged so I would say it’s good on basic water resistance. A problem I did have was also the straps kept sliding down. We were averaging 7-10 miles of walking a day and my shoulders and back were achy. But I still love the bag and would get it again if need be. Thanks! Can’t wait to take it on my next adventure!
