He is adorable. It’s almost a year since my purchase and the solar light still works. If you’re contemplating getting one, I’d say yes. Not too big, not too small, and perfect for a bookworm with a playful imagination.

I'm not sure when I started doing this, but mom has like 8 gnomes so many around 4+ years ago? Anyway for most birthdays, Christmas's and Holidays now I get mom a garden gnome in this style, and they haven't dissapointed. This one came with another laugh and tiny sigh (I think mom assumed surely we must be out of gnome varieties by now). My only comment that may be construed as negative is that the rich green colour on the gnomes hat does fade quite a bit when left in the sun, as presumably they're meant to do. It doesn't bother us, it just means each new one looks a tiny bit out of place briefly with its bright green against the faded greens, but it must take less than a years worth of sun because I can't even tell which one was the last gnome I bought. Anyway, they light up beautifully, they're cute and they've brought my family a lot of jokes and laughs.

Not as large as I was hoping but overall a really cute gnome. Makes a nice addition to our backyard.

My first one lit up but did not light up again after that. After leaving a review stating this, someone got a hold of me and asked me to take a picture of the existing one and they issued out another! The replacement is working as intended!

I've had this little cutie for 10 months. The battery recharges each day so the light shines from sundown until about 4 am. I keep it on the porch out of direct line of winds and storm water, yet in direct line of sunlight. The little clothes are made of a kind of fake grass, which faded rather quickly. But this wasn't a deal breaker for me. It actually has two lights. I love it.

He's adorable, but sadly he doesn't light up. Also, I'm pretty sure I got a used one instead of new.

This reading gnome light is adorable. It's lightweight, but well made and it shines brightly all night. The gnome's book is illuminated, as well as the ladybug. Really cute addition to the garden, and I love both turtles and gnomes, so a win-win!
