It’s a great kettle and aesthetically appealing. I’m sure it’s just makeup and lipstick, but it looks cool as long as you clean it with light cleaner it should hold up.The lid it came with was crap and super cheap. Hold onto your old kettles lid and just switch them out. Other than that I have no complaints and it is a really nice kettle. Boils quickly and does not have a whistle which I love!

It's absolutely beautiful in person! Nothing cheap-looking about it. Very well made and will lend a nostalgic, 1940's look to my tea nook. The copper pieces really SHINE! I haven't gotten an opportunity to try it out yet (my house is still being constructed) but I've had an electric kettle with the automatic shut-off and boil-dry safety features before and they're essential features if you don't want to watch over a boiling kettle. Traditional stove-kettles have to be looked after. The water can dry up and leaving an empty pot on a hot stove is bad news bears.

Very stylish kettle . Everyone loved the look, but it started leaking heavily after 3 years. Had to throw it away. Simpler looking kettles at half the price lasted me 18 years and still working 🤷🏼‍♀️

I owned this just over a year. I liked it, worked, fast, easy to clean but has died on me already. The pot still fine but the base is dead which makes it useless. I’d expect stuff to last longer than a year. Junk !!!

I like how this kettle looks, but the handle location is somewhat impractical because of how you have to twist your arm or wrist to get it into a pouring position. Also, the steam will come up upon your hand while pouring. I guess it's form over function...
