These batteries are good enough through my testing. Cutting 2x4 with an XSH-03, I was able to make 70 end cuts in a row before the first bar winked out. This is about the same as I get from my 4AH Makita factory packs. Another 50 cuts and it was at 2 bars, so still on par with the lower capacity factory packs. I charged from there to 100% and performed 125 more cuts in rapid succession (only taking time to align my saw and triggering it for the cut) to 2 bars again. The last run was 150 end cuts in rapid succession and it bounced down to 1 bar before recovering back to 2. These packs seem to charge quickly and offer consistent performance over several charge/work sessions, but the factory pack of the same capacity (6AH) can do the same and still be holding three bars. They are not bad, the pack was cool for all the testing. I work in the trades and would prefer the Makita factory packs, but for DIY...these are a solid offering! For projects around my ranch, these will work great. On my drill (much less draw than the saw), I anticipate that I will get several days of constant use before any charging needs to be considered and that is great. They fit the tool like factories, charge quickly and offer a decent amount in terms of work that can be performed between charging. I am curious to find out how long they will keep going over the long run.

The batteries are rated for 3 AM hours 18 V. But when I went to use the product, it lasted less than 15 or 20 minutes. And that was an intermittent use of the battery when I had originally ordered the battery. They sent me one brand new battery and one used battery that was undersize and absolutely did not work. Be careful of what you purchase from this company.

Batteries have extended the usefulness of my tools; would have retired both them and me otherwise. I’m thankful I’m still useful….
