I'm impressed with the quality for the cost. I installed this on an rv pump to transfer water from my rain water collection system to my greenhouse. It seems to be catching all the debris that has accumulated in the tank. Looks like a well built filter and came with extra hardware for easy install in a variety of situations. Time will tell if it last through the summer but I will update if theres any failures.

I love these filters. Stopped all my clogging issues with my yard sprayer. I am ordering a second one for the RV.Real brass fittings and the clear case is thick plastic. Zero worries about it holding the pressure.

Easy to assemble and attatch to washer faucet. Seems to be filering well sediment and pipe rust fragments okay. Everything plastic but attachments to faucet and washer hose. I checked reviews on similar items so knew to tighten bowl by threaded top, not bowl. I did get a small drip on hose end and will be adding another gasket to see if it helps; I just turn off water when not doing laundry. For me it works okay. It is too large to fit behind my washer as it is in a closet so it is attached to the faucet. Beats crawling on top of washer & dryer to get at cold water hose connection and clean screen for every load.

Very well built, clear cup allows to see when it needs to be cleaned out and cleaning is super easy.We pump water from a lake for the lawn sprinkler system and the water has a lot of algae and small. vegetation particles that often clog up the sprinkler and drip heads. This filter helps a lot in preventing the clogging, The filter is connected and left outdoor so there are some concerns about exposure to the elements hence durability. I built a sunshade to cover the filter and hopefully that will help blocking the UV.Highly recommended and five stars!

EDIT!! (after less than 2 months of owning it)TRASH. Not only is it still letting so much through that we have more filters down the hose line that we have to clean multiple times a day if using it for more than 20 minutes. But the filter plastic broke while we weren't home and let our irrigation dump hundreds+ gallons of water in to the street & the city was called. Do NOT trust this product enough to not be checking it constantly.Old review after a few days of owning it:Good fittings, quality o-rings, and no leaks!Minus one star for the filter's inability to do its job as well as I hoped.I'll mention that our irrigation water is REALLY dirty, there's definitely no filters after the reservoirs before it reaches our house. But even the finer filter mesh isn't catching as much of the sediment clogging our hoses as I had hoped it would. But it is catching quite a bit, and at least its catching the worms and leaches that were clogging the o-ring filters we have in place.We're going to need something better to feel comfortable ever adding a sprinkler system using this water source. But with moving the o-ring filters father down the hose line, just after our splitters, this filter attachment is making is definitely manual watering a lot more tolerable!

We have hard water and I tried some other filters and weren’t happy with them. I ordered this one and am so glad I did. I don’t have to empty it for weeks.

I like the design of this. Works well and seems like high quality. I had a few break due to freezing, which you would expect. I now have had one break in the heat. The bowl broke at the screw on flange. Not sure if it was the near 100 degree heat, or maybe degradation due to UV exposure. Possibly a defect in the one piece. Might have even been tighter than need be. Broke when I was away. Came to my small tree nursery and found water gushing from the cracked bowl. I will look for another alternative in the future.

Filter works well. Easy to install.
