Very high quality system. I am running these full range with no crossover at 75watts each. Super clean sound, amazing bass response and the silk dome tweeter is what my ears like. I gave these a try as I noticed the name brands have really cut back on quality and you need to spend 3x to get a name brand speaker with the same quality of components and a full crossover. Oh and a copper voice coil, many speakers in this price range cheap out and do a copper CLAD aluminum wire. I have no idea how other manufactures stay in business with speakers like these in the market place at the current price of $150.

For their size, these speakers sound excellent and worked in the small space we had for them! We will be buying another set for another vehicle.

Putting 4 stars for now may change up..! Or down . We'll see. So far as an audiophile of over 30yrs ive heard many ranges of speakers high and low. These speaker so far blow my mind for the price. These review often encapsulate many items not a specific one. I purchased the 3 way "high end" set. For under 500 they perform closer to speaker around 800 to 1500 depending what you like. The crossovers do have adjustments to both the tweeter and 3.5. With that said the tweeter is 1 1/8 which is not usual for this price. The carbon fiber in these speakers appears well made as does the rest of the speaker. Would have been nice for additional mounting parts but for the price...its not a big deal. You can only mount these as flush which obviously is the best choice but may not be for some. Overall I'm impressed and didn't expect as much clarity (due to the price and all of the "features") and so far highly recommend this set. Will be buying a second matching set for my rear doors and rear pillars. These are currently installed into a 2016 silverado. I am also running an nvx 150x4 amplifier as well as an nvx 2000rms amp with two alpine 10s under my back seat (currently running 4ohm load at subs which is somewhere around 700-800rms from the amp. Sound quality is my main preference but I do like it louder. Edit. About 6 months in and have a rear set of 3 ways mounted in the rear doors. So far have 6 of these tweeters 4 3.5s and 4 6.5s. Having a friend with a 3d printer making a custom mounting bracket to fit 2x 6.5s in the front doors. Have now 2x 150x4 nvx amps running a total of 14 of these speakers. About to have 6x 6.5s total in a 16 double cab. Am very impressed with these speakers so far. Now that most of my setup (which impresses alot of folks) be nice to be sponsored haha. So far so good. Recommend a quality install and take your time. They are awesome!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Once again nvx with exceptional products that perform many leagues out of their price range, don’t even have them on an amp yet and they are way louder and better quality than the “audiophile grade” fostgates that I had

Like the quality and design. Just could not put the cover back on because this speakers are beautiful to look at. I think I wank the door 6.5’s next

I have these hooked to a PPI A700.4D amp. They sound pretty good. I would only say that the tweeter sound quality stood out the best. They 6.5 had good bass, but sounded like a normal aftermarket 6.5. I can tell they manufacture put their money into the speaker and not the crossovers. Here's what I really didn't like. NVX calls these their highend speakers, but the crossovers were about as cheap as you can get. Extremely basic and cheap parts were used to make them. The part I hate the most is, the tweeters do not have any mounting brackets. So, you can flush mount them, but you will need to glue them in place. I recommend hot glue. The hole size is 1-3/4". The tweeter will fit nice and snug in that hole, but there is a chance it can vibrate out. Overall opinion: For $140, they are a worth it due to being able to handle over 100 watts and having a really good sounding tweeter. As for sound quality, they are on par with other top name brands at the same price. My Infinity Kappa coaxial sound cleaner, but the tweeters are not as high.

DO NOT BUY THESE! I bought them and set them up using an active x over set up. 6 weeks later i swapped amps and decided to use the passive xovers. One worked, the other did not. Contacted Amazon to replace xover, they told me to contact NVX. I contacted NVX and had to jump through hell and high water only to be told that I have to pay out my pocket to return the xovers. I did NOT. Next 1st tweeter took a hard crap and then the midrange surround started to de laminate from the basket. Stay away from NVX. I will never spend another dime with them.

I was looking for a 2 way 6x9 to run in the rear deck on an E36 M3 and for the price I could not be more happy these NVX units. I desoldered the tweeter from the woofer connection so I could wire up the 2 way similar to factory and connect it to the stock 4 pin connector. They provide a solid low end and does well with the mids with the factory eq’d amp. The tweeters sound pretty good. Now these are running with a flat eq from a head unit into the factory alpine amp, but I’m still impressed by the sound quality from the rear of the car. When I redo the front speakers, headunit, amp, and 10 sealed sub, I was going to change back to a custom mid bass/ tweeter in the factory boxes, but now I might leave these rear 6x9s in and see how they keep up with the new setup. Overall, impressed. For the price and packaging, it’s a good buy.
