GNCHerbal Plus Elderberry Fruit 550mg, Vegetarian Supplement, 100 Servings

I've been talking this for 10 years, dutifully. I had a severe case of the shingles. A homeopathic friend suggested I take this. Within 3 days of taking 4 pills a day, my shingles cleared up. I take a regular dose of 2 a day. Shingles clear and any virus based medical nedf, I up my intake to 3/4, depending on what it is. May not do this for everyone but it's my healthy way.

For decades I had a severe cold--walking pneumonia, strep throat, tonsillitis, etc--at least once every winter like clockwork. I could count on being sick as a dog at least once every year. I read something about this somewhere and went to GNC where the young lady said "oh, I take that and I haven't been sick in a year". Like you are doing right now, I thought to myself "yeah, right, sure" and I bought some that day. For the last 4 years I have not been sick one, single time and I have changed nothing else in my lifestyle. I am a believer and take 2 a day, every day religiously. I can't say it will work for you, but I am a believer.

If not for the Linseed oil (flax) taste of the capsule, I'd give this a 5 star rating, but the capsule taste is a bit much. I take it quickly with some orange juice. There's no after burping of the taste so that's good. Otherwise the Elderberry works very effectively for me and what sold me on it is the 550 mg. dosage. I can't take flu shots so this is my flu prevention method I use. I'm happy with this product and will buy it again.

This stuff is amazing. I have been fighting colds since my kids went back to school in September. So I researched and found out elderberry can boost the immune system. while I was feeling bad I took it several times a day. Within two days I started to feel better. Now I take it daily and notice I am not coming down with colds. If I do feel some sickness coming on, I double my amount and then feel better by the next day. I don’t let myself run out of elderberry

This is my go-to herb during the winter season when colds, flu, and other bad things are going around. The label says “fruit” but it’s actually a standardized extract. This brand has proven super-effective and helpful for me. You can find numerous scientific studies online regarding the effects of elderberry extract, including at NIH.gov, search for them and be astounded. For my body at least, this brand matches the results in the studies. One or two capsules every four hours and I’m good to go.

The item had an expiration date of 03/23 so I won't be using it!

I’ve been taking this product as twice daily at the first sign of cold for a couple of years. It seems to keep more severe symptoms such as upper respiratory infection from forming. It didn’t help me if a cold was already at the “I feel miserable” state.

Works as an effective fiber intake supplement.
