This book is great for bilingual families. I speak English the other side of family speaks German.

Super cute book. I know it is a kids book but it is also a great way for adults to learn a second language, reading kids books in that language. The pictures are super cute and I love all the phrases in there that it teaches you.

My husband is German and I’m American. We want our child to be bilingual, but this book is very strange..some of the phrases don’t really make sense to teach to a young child and the animals every other page are just random. I’m not sure how I can use this to help my child learn.

I've been trying to get my fiancee's daughter to learn other languages other than English as we live in the UK. I think she likes this book quite a bit, as it something we'll often read together.

I wanted a bilingual story book, this one is only phrases and has no actual story to it and the drawings are not overly impressive. Definitely disappointed with this book, but looking forward to finding other German/English baby books

Lovely well illustrated book that both me and my granddaughters German family can enjoy

Some of the phrases are okay, but some are just plain weird for a child to say to a parent or loved one (which the book blurb claims is the purpose of the book). "I can't stop thinking about you" "You are my only love" "You have beautiful eyes"? There are a dozen more appropriate and useful phrases. ChatGPT could have done a better job of choosing phrases. This book might be a more appropriate phrasebook for pickup lines and flirtin, but then the animal pictures would be somewhat inappropriate. Where the editors drunk when they put this together.
