I get so many compliments on this hat. It's my favorite. It protects my face fully and neck sides and neck back completely. I have ordered about 7 total so far in about 5 years. It is truly a beautiful hat-flattering and does the job you want it to, which is protect you from the sun's harmful rays. Yet, it also looks so beautiful and is femininely flattering for women. It looks like a fishing hat on men, so works for my husband, too. In addition, and much to the seller's credit, they have gone back to protecting their product. Recently, I had to order a replacement hat (twice) from Camptrace because the first came with bill-rim crushed in newer packaging that was not big enough to hold the bill of the hat without folding the bill. Two perfect hats were crushed-twice in packaging that was too small for the product. Have ordered this same hat from Camptrace in the past, and they always came without a folded bill-brim and placed in a larger bag with the company logo on it. Latest and third order, now, was placed in a special Camptrace hat box this time! THANK YOU CAMPTRACE for going back to protecting the bill and not folding the brim on this awesome hat! I will continue to buy in the future.

I purchased two of these hats in two different colors, and they are great! The coverage with the back fabric is great. The fabric is lightweight and the band around the head isn’t too tight, so I don’t get headaches wearing the hat. Easy to fold up and take on the go or use the chinstrap to hang up when not in use. I use hat for being out on the water and also gardening so in the summer on those hot days it’s nice not to have the sun beating down on your upper back or neck. I keep one in my car for when it rains because the coverage of the brim and the back fabric is great if you get caught without an umbrella.

This version isn't exactly like the green one I got a few years ago but was the next closest available one. Still give it 5 stars! Helps me survive fieldwork in the Permian Basin in west Texas, so if it can do that, it can do anything! You can pull your hair through a loop on the back and it has a flap to cover your neck and a wide brim to keep your face protected. Don't get bug spray with deet on it though! It will ruin the clasp and make the plastic melt.

I looked for a long time for the 'right hat'. This one has great coverage of my face, neck and upper back and an easy way to pull my long hair out of the back. very easy to make adjustments for perfect fit. buy it! you'll love it
