I have always loved DaKine and these gloves didn’t disappoint. Save yourself the trouble to wear gloves over wrist guards, this is so much easier. Don’t go cheap on protection, these will probably be your best investment along with a pair of impact shorts for snowboarding.

The guard plastic doesn't stay in place which made it annoying to wear. After I took it the guard plastic, these became my favorite gloves - the wide band ist fast to use and keeps them perfectly in place. But when I took them on the mountain at -11 Celsius, with liners, my fingers were numb of cold after an hour. At warmer temperatures, these are pretty great.

The "unisex" (black) gloves are men's gloves, period. If you want to call these unisex, start offering sizes that fit women. I bought an XS (after trying the S first) and it still has fingers that are way too long compared to the palm width. Can't do anything while wearing them. Otherwise they're fine. It would be nice if the strap that you tighten around the wrist was designed differently (e.g. sewn into a channel and only a portion exposed).
