VIRGIN COCONUT - Hair & Body Natural Butter

This coconut oil in the little tub is the perfect size and container to keep in the bathroom to rub on any dry skin areas and your feet. Those saying its just coconut oil obviously didn't read the description, because it says it's coconut oil. I usually buy fractionated coconut oil for my skin and feet and it stays liquid. I really like using this solid form as it's less messy.

This natural butter is incredibly nourishing for both hair and body. It melts smoothly, leaving skin soft and hydrated without feeling greasy. Hair feels silky and healthy after use. Spa Ceylon's virgin coconut hair and body butter is made from organic certified virgin coconut oil. It's produced sustainably in Sri Lanka and is vegan. It's inspired from the health rituals of Ayurveda. It has no added fragrance. The coconut butter comes in a beautiful frosted glass jar with a gold tone lid. At room temperature, the butter is firm. But when I ran my fingers across the surface, it melted into a satiny liquid with a subtle coconut fragrance. I used it on the dry patches on my feet and elbows, and it worked wonders to soften those areas. It also absorbed well, and didn't leave my skin oily. This is the kind of body butter that I find pampering and soothing. There was only one thing about it that disappointed me. I was sent an older jar that was manufactured in 2/23 and expires in 1/26. That doesn't give me a lot of time to use a large 3.53 ounce jar before it expires. I'm not sure how good it is after the expiration date, considering it's organic. But I'm giving it five stars anyway, because the company must still be producing new jars, and you will hopefully get a fresher one. Highly recommended.

While I really like other products from this brand, this one was not a winner for me. I originally wanted it because it's described as "hair" and body butter, but I can't really imagine using this in your hair. It's extremely solid (albeit that depends on the ambient temperature where you keep it). I used it on my skin a few times, but again the solid state makes it difficult to use, and it feels greasy. It did absorb almost completely after awhile, so that is a good thing, but I don't notice any difference in how it feels on your skin compared to your basic coconut oil. The scent is, as expected, coconut, which I like. The jar has a fancy feel. Overall, it's ok, but I didn't love it overall and wouldn't buy again.

This is essentially just an example expensive coconut oil with fancy packaging marketed for skin and hair, lol. It’s a solid state and then melts down with warmth. It’s not a butter, butter textures are more whipped and creamy, it’s literal coconut oil. I don’t use straight coconut oil often, and I happened to notice that the expiration date is Jan 2026, which isn’t too far away. If I’m getting a new product I would prefer that it didn’t have an expiration so soon after purchase.

This is a jar of pure coconut oil in butter form made in Sri Lanka. This is a very good quality coconut butter and it smells awesome. It is nice and thick and goes on smoothly. I use this for my rough skin patches and my dog's paws. It is effective and does what any pure coconut oil will do. It also comes in a lovely glass jar that can be reused. I took a star away because I was sent a product that was made over 2 years ago and will expire in less than a year. At around $20 for 50g of coconut oil, I would expect one that is a little more fresh. That's my only complaint.

This makes me feel expensive hunny! The packaging is beautiful. It comes in a fancy jar that looks and feels super high-end. The texture is rich and moisturizing without being greasy. It has a light scent which doesn’t overpower. It leaves my skin feeling so soft. I tried it in my hair on some of my dry ends. It definitely helped without making my hair look dirty. The product itself is solid, and definitely not a cream. I kind of prefer this since it melts onto your skin and you can easily control how much you use. I highly recommend.

This coconut hair and body combo cream smells wonderful. I love things that smell like coconut and this does not disappoint. It's very smooth and goes on your skin very easily and soaks in this is a decent sized container for the money
