I'm thrilled with this attachment! I have been battling fleas here (yikes!) and I've tried so many different products to get them under control. My dogs are both very hairy and it's difficult to keep their fur groomed well. My one dog is a Great Pyrenees and he long hair. The flea comb insert works through his hair beautifully and keeps him groomed well at the same time! My other dog is an Australian Shepherd. She has thick hair, but it gets through that too! It keeps them beautifully groomed, removes dander, AND reduces shedding on our carpets and furniture! I do have to hook it up to the shop vac to get the powerful suction needed, but they've become accustomed to the noise and are only mildly annoyed by the brushing. We had to duck tape the hose attachment so it would fit, but that was no big deal. This deserves a solid 5 stars.

I don't ever write reviews but this one deserves it completely. This is tool is a game changer...ranks right up there with the Furrminator.....both are MUST HAVES! If you have a husky, you know how much hair they shed and they are also super freaky about being groomed. Ours turns into a total freak show when we bathe him and the constant brushing is only tolerated for a short time (by both of us) so it's a constant struggle. We have tried vacuuming in the past but we have a Dyson and it sucks too hard and scares him, but this tool attached to our big Dyson (wouldn't work on the stick Dyson) works perfectly. We attached the short included hose to our vacuums hose and then started to work. At first our dog was a little leary but quickly calmed down and even laid down and happily let us groom him with this. He has NEVER done that with any grooming tool. He was actually enjoying it and would move around so we could get him everywhere. I think it must have been like a massage to him. And the best part....there was absolutely no mess when we were done. No need to vacuum the entire house from flying pet hair....just done with a vacuum full of hair. But, we also have a border collie and it worked well on him too, but he didn't ever really calm down and enjoy it. Possibly the difference in the texture and length of his hair may not have been such a good mix. Husky hair literally falls out of a husky's coat, whereas it has to be kind of pulled out of a border collie coat....but it's the same with the furrminator too. So, my summation is...if you have a husky...buy this without question. It is well worth every penny.

Works well on the shorter haired dogs but not so good on my Husky.

This seems to work as described, though I didn't find it any more effective than simply brushing my dog and putting the fur in the trash by hand. My vacuum made my dog nervous, it didn't seem to scare him, but it didn't seem worth putting him through the process when there was so little benefit.

Got this today super easy to put together I did have to use hose adapter, I have a sweeper with the hard hose actually really glad I had to use hose adapter now I just have to unhook and go when I’m ready to use again super easy to hook up, I also have a dog that sees a brush she will run and hide but offer to sweep her and she lay there all day, that’s what you get when you teach them not to be afraid of the sweeper lol. As you can see from the picture I have a Siberian Husky if you have ever owned one you know their undercoat is just awful when time to shed. I also have cloth furniture. She will still go to the groomers but this product will be great for in between groomings I also have 2 cats one short hair one long haired. I filled up the whole tank just doing the dog in about 10 min, since sh can’t see the comb she just layed there loving every bit of it, cats arnt afraid of sweeper either so I got the short hair cat used the same comb heck I had no clue she she’d so much can’t wait to do the long hair cat, As for the furniture the attachment that came with the furniture doesn’t work very well but the one that comes with this product I can only say omg!!! Usually before company comes I use a stick roll to do the couch I would go through a whole roll. This saves so much time and I had no idea that my chair had so much hair on it the furniture attachment got right down in the grooves. I have nothing bad to say about this product except I wish I would have found it sooner this is going to save me lots of headaches, One other thing I did look at other products and felt this one best fit my needs and boy was I right Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!

I have a Bissell Zing and using the flex hose and the deshedding attachment I got a WHOLE CANISTER of dog hair off my dog when he isn’t even shedding that much!!! I previously used deshedding brushes on my dog and would end up with a pile of hair to toss out and vacuum afterwards. This seemed easier and for the price it was worth a shot. I thought he might hate it as much as he has hated the vacuum for the last 14 years but he was absolutely mellow about it. The deshedding brush prongs are short enough that it doesn’t catch his sensitive skin—something that has bothered him with other brushes. I tried the flea comb too and it worked well for loosening his undercoat and dry spots. Definitely read the instructions for how to add and remove the comb attachments. For the adapter, the instructions were only okay but I figured it out. Basically—my end of my vacuum has a rigid tube for attachments. The brush head attachment fits on my existing vacuum no problem, but it was hard to maneuver because of the 10-12” of rigid tube. I attached the flex hose by loosening the larger head end (twist towards unlock symbol), then sliding that on the rigid tube of my vacuum, then twisting back to the lock symbol to tighten. It made a tight seal and worked to suck up the hair, but was gentle enough to not suck up any skin rolls or anything. I love this thing.

Works well to remove dog hair. Do use Duct Tape to fit this to a wet vac. The dog loves it. Only cons is the flipper part in the head closes too easily, like by accident.

Tengo 4 perros que sueltan mucho pelo y que es difícil de quitar de ropa y cualquier tela y aunque tenía mis dudas de este aparato me animé. Quedé gratamente sorprendido y es que el peine que quita el pelo es muy similar al del furminator. El accesorio para limpiar tapicerías me funciona bastante bien y pude quitar mucho pelo de las colchas y cojines. Lo único que en mi caso no funcionó con lis aspiradoras fueron los accesorios como la extensión flexible pero no fue mucho problema ya que la de mi aspiradora entra perfecta en el cepillo. Lo recomiendo muchísimo y hasta se lo dije a una amiga que también tiene perros y batalla mucho con el pelo que sueltan.

Waste of money

Lo mejor que entre el cepillo y la boca de aspiración no se te pierde ningún pelo. Las instrucciones están reguleras hay que jaja pensar un poco para enlazarlo con el aspirador de casa eso si una vez lo pillas acopla perfecto.

Very practical, keep the floor clean and dogs like the comb! They don't like Furminator that seems hurting them but they accept VacGroom comb, stay calm. The best part is I don't have to remove hair with fingers from the comb, it removes the hair by pushing the lever so the hair is removed and vacuumed. I'm very happy with the product! I recommend to anyone who has pets!
