They are CR2032 3V Batteries. Can be found on Amazon.com Hope this will help. EM

Q: Is this rechargeable?

The batteries are not rechargeable. And, the replacement batteries are much more expensive than AA or AAA batteries. When I attempted to replace the batteries, one of the tiny prongs broke. So, the mirror won’t work and I spent over $10 for the batteries. If I buy another lighted mirror, it will use AA or AAA batteries.

Q: Can it stand with lighted side upright?

Yes it can stand with lighted side up or down.

Q: Is there an on off switch for light?

Yes, there is a switch on bottom.
