It's hard to say with certainty without comparing it to something with guaranteed scientific accuracy. That said, I haven't yet found mine to be clearly wrong, and I'd buy another if I needed one. (Hopefully this answer is more helpful than it looks to me.)

With an AAA battery, the battery will last for about 2 years, so you don't have to worry about changing the battery frequently. The product comes with a battery.

First press and hold the "MODE" button for about 3 seconds, then press "ADJ" to adjust the value. Finally, press "MODE" to confirm the value of time and date
