Quality Part/ Easy Install
Replaced the faulty negative battery cable on my wife’s 2013 Chevy Cruze. Her radio was starting to power cycle multiple times a day, and the ‘Service Stabilitrack’ error message was showing up on her console. It was an easy install; however, make sure you purchase the required bolt that doesn’t come with the cable, as you can’t reuse anything from the old setup.

Perfect for my '14 Cruze LT
Fits great, you will have to get the side bolt separately. We just doctored my old bolt and put it on this new cable. Now I'm hoping this is REALLY going to fix my electrical problem (which I'm pretty sure it will). The radio turns off & back on randomly, windshield wipers also come on by themselves, message comes up saying, 'Service Stabili Trak' followed by a Traction Control message. ABS, traction control, battery & steering wheel light all come on and another light I can't think of right now... The small screen also tells me to roll the driver side window down and back up. If I don't do this immediately, usually, the car turns off & there is no power at all & will not release my key. We then pop the hood & mess with the negative battery cable & all is well again ...for a few weeks. Anyway, Chevy acknowledged this problem (technically not a recall) and was going to fix it ...in about 3-4 weeks. So, I thought why not fix it myself? After putting the new cable, this problem did happen again asking me to roll the window down & back up then it was fine again. Saved me a $145 on a local shop to "dig for the short" plus probably another 100-200 and something dollars for the part(s) & labor. The wife of the mechanic was still trying to insist that I need a new battery (from them, of course) but my battery is still brand new smh***Update***If your Chevy Cruze is doing what mine was, buy the cable and replace it ASAP. This cord was definitely the problem causing all that stabili trac issue I described up there. Once we put this one in, all that craziness never happened again. You're welcome 😉

Needed for faulty cables that Chevy Cruze come with
If your Chevrolet Cruze is randomly stalling while driving and your power steering turns off while your dash lights up like a Christmas tree, this is what you need to swap out. Thanks Chevy.

Fits my 2012 Cruze (metric 6-1.00x12 is the missing bolt)
I bought this to replace my corroded negative battery cord on my 2012 Chevy Cruze. For some reason Amazon said it wouldn't fit my car, but it fits perfectly. It was easy to swap out the old cord with the new one. I did watch a video on YouTube to make sure I did it correctly.I gave it 4 stars because it does not give the bolt for the ground wire. Supposedly the one on the old wire does not fit this cord, I did not try to find out. I went down to the hardware store and bought a Metric 6-1.00x12. bolt for $.65, it fits perfectly.

Worked great on my 2014 Cruze Diesel
This part will work for all 2014-2016 Gen1 Cruze, regardless of engine type, 1.8NA, 1.4T, 2.0TD.Make sure you order the extra bolt for the small wire that bolts on to the main battery connector. It is part # 11561025.Took about five minutes to remove the old one and install the new one. If your cruze is having stabilitrack or any other odd electrical issues it is a must to replace the neg battery cable. There was an issue in the original production of them when they were installed. You can also find install videos on YouTube on how to do this. 10mm socket ratchet and a small flathead screw driver
