This was a great purchase! We even got a second one for our other shower. I was surprised that something without a huge price tag would be so reliable and change the showering experience so much.Pros:• The thing actually works, with no issues. It powers on instantly and keeps running the whole time• The light is very relaxing• There are actually more color variations than shown in the advertising. It has a very nice, slow rotation of the colors that is (importantly) not repetitious• One of the settings turns down the water flow which I have found to be kinda nice. It allows you to relax a little more in there without wasting as much water.• It's just super, super relaxing if you partake in certain recreational relaxation enhancersCons:• Plastic-y, not made with the best materials• Kinda loud, but pretty much average amongst shower heads• Can't control the light at all. It just gos through its cycle endlessly (albeit I wouldn't want to change it)I recommend trying this out.

This isn't a high end product, but it works well.First the downsides: It's made of plastic, and you have to be careful not to over tighten it or fear stripping the threads. The shower head is lightweight, and feels plastic-like. The adapter sent with the shower head is made of surprisingly light weight plastic as well. I will probably go to the hardware store and buy a real metal one. When tightening the adapter onto the shower pipe, I had some issues because it was such lightweight plastic.The upsides: It works well. It's not a low flow shower. The LEDs light right up. It's got a switchable settings, and they feel nice. I really liked the amount of water it showered out. the changing LEDs changed color, and it was super cool. My husband loved the LED lights, and the extra height the handheld shower gave. They also shipped it with a nice heavy duty metal hose instead of a cheap vinyl one.I like it, but I am unsure if it will last more than a year or so. I only paid twenty something for it, and that was worth it for me.

I just bought my second one of these. First one lasted just over 6 years. The hose finally wrecked due to our hard water. Worth it for the price and easy to install.

I got this bc I shower at night and don't like bright lights. This was working perfect. About a month after I got it it started making this weird noise. Not even having it for two years, the noise stopped but the lights no longer work. The only reason I bought it was for the lights ☠️

The pressure on this shower-head is very weak until you removed the flow regulator which can be a little difficult. If you have a strong water pressure you won't need to do this.Installation was fast and easily done, except the old shower head was hard to get off, so it might be smart to buy a pipe wrench if you need one.It does everything I wanted it to. It's got a hose, the hose is metal, and it has 4 different settings, of which you really only need two. Obviously the main attraction is that the shower-head lights up, and it does, but there seems to be some sort of problem with mine.When I start the shower it goes through the colors shown, red, blue, and green, and it is lovely.... but after the first rotation of colors for some reason it stops doing solid colors and starts doing mixes of red and green, and it's not quite as enjoyable. To avoid confusion let me clarify, when I turn on the luminex it always cycles through the solid colors, then just decides to show ugly combinations, which I don't understand. If it has the ability to show them one at a time, I don't know why it doesn't the entire time it's on. Either a poor design decision, or a design flaw. But it does not detract from my enjoyment of the showerhead much.I knew what I was getting into as other reviews clearly state this as well, and I'm just happy it lights up at all. Hell, I'd almost prefer if it were just normal LEDs instead of colored ones, but that's just preference.
