Here's the bottom line: BUY IT NOW!!!!! Do not waste any more time! It is fabulous!!!! A few days before Valentine's Day, I decided my Valentine needed a manly box of delicious dried meats. After searching many different places online, which seemed to sell mediocre quality jerky and charge you $50 for 4 oz, I purchased this Some Like It Hot jerky box. Gone are the days of fru-fru chocolates and sweets. This 17oz box was a major hit with my spice-loving fiance and will now be an annual tradition. I would like to note, we regularly process, marinate, and dry our own jerky at home, which far excels anything you can buy from Jack Links or Matador. So, we are well aware what good jerky should taste like, and People's Choice qualifies for first place. Every flavor in our box had a hearty real beef flavor and a tender chew. RANKING OF THE BEEF: 1) Carne Seca- The least spicy. We cannot taste any chili or lime. But, it does have a very good, beefy flavor. Super tender and well seasoned. Heat: 0/10 2) Old Fashioned Hot & Spicy- Has a kick of heat. Delicious chili flavor. Texture of homemade jerky. Super tender. Heat: 2/10 3) Hot & Spicy- Cranks up the heat. Delightful chili flavor, less tender than the old fashioned, but not tough by any means. This is too hot for me to munch on, but it was the perfect heat level for my fiance. Heat: 5/10 4) Sweet Chili Habanero- YES!!! Very very very tasty. This is our favorite. Absolutely delicious. Just the right blend of sweet and heat. Really packs a punch. Heat: 4/10 5) Sriracha- Despite what you might think, this is not a hipster flavor. It is not jerky dipped in Rooster sauce. It. Is. Divine. Really scrumptious flavor and MORE heat!!!!!!! Heat: 6/10 6) Flamin Hot Beef Sticks- WOW!!!!!!!!! Dragon breath of flames. Too hot for me to handle, but my fiance found it very impressive. Still has a balanced and delicious beef flavor. Heat: 10/10

This is a review of the Sweet Tooth Jerky Box. First, the negative -- it's expensive! almost $34 USD for 12 total ounces of meat products: 4 oz of Sweet Teriyaki Beef Sticks, 2.5oz Garlic Ginger Beef Jerky, 2.5oz Orange Honey Teriyaki Beef Jerky, and 3oz Teriyaki Beef Jerky. All of the items in my box were on the dry and hard side of the spectrum. No problem for me because I prefer a harder jerky that I can chew on a bit to bring out the flavors. Sweet Teriyaki Beef Sticks - a bit too hard and dry in my opinion and they're kind of small and skinny. Think regular bulk pack Slim Jim size, but not as chewy. They have a sweet flavor that's not bad, but not great. I wouldn't get these again. Teriyaki Beef Jerky - nice flavor but a little bit too sweet for just plain teriyaki. Not too salty. This is a good chewing jerky. Garlic Ginger Beef Jerky - very good flavor and not too sweet. Not salty, and also a harder jerky made for chewing and savoring. The best of this bunch! I was pleasantly surprised that I like this flavor so much. Orange Honey Teriyaki Beef Jerky - the softest of the bunch, but not a soft jerky by any means. Didn't think I'd like this flavor, but it's not overwhelming with orange or honey so it's surprisingly good. Still a little bit on the sweet side though, but hey, this is the from the Sweet Tooth box... I'd give People's Choice another try, though different flavors.

Excellent gifts! I got this jerky box for my dad, step dad and fiance. My fiance was nice enough to let me try some of each item and it's all AMAZING. The flavors are soooo good. I also very much loved the texture of the beef sticks. The skin wasn't tough and chewy like most, it was tender and delicious and easy to bite and chew. I will deffinitely be gifting more of these jerky boxes in the future.

Save your money, doesn’t taste that good. Some were OK but most were tasteless. I have found better beef jerky at a gas station.

Got this variety package as a birthday gift for my husband. I thought he likes jerky and we are locked down in quarantine so it should be good as a gift and as food supply too. What I did not expect is to hear my husband explain to me a few days later the family history of the company that made this jerky and the difference between traditional and new jerky processing technologies. Or hear him cry...well almost...the habanero got to him so he had to order an other pound of it. To my surprise every flavor it very different. I am used to reading the labels for flavor and not being able to tell the difference. With these different layers and nuances of flavor come through as you chew, savor each piece. So far for us is the gift the keeps on giving.

The red bag of hot and spicy is really good. After I finished that bag I opened the old fashioned hot and spicy and the sweet chili habanero and they were the worst jerky I have ever tasted. I can't even explain that taste. I had to spit them both out and rinse my mouth out. I'm afraid to try the last two bags. Or even the beef sticks. I don't think I will! Waste of money. I am a big jerky lover too and this was so disappointing. I would purchase that red bag of hot and spicy again though. That one was really good.

A couple disclaimers- I do not particularly like jerky. Specifically, I cannot recall a time (this purchase excluded) where I wasn’t saying something like, “this is gross”. My boyfriend however buys jerky constantly. I bought this as a gift for him. Now for the actual review. This jerky was a huge hit with my boyfriend and now is his favorite. In his words, “best jerky I’ve had. Let’s get more”. I also tried it and I love it!!! Additional bonus points from me because the Package arrived on time (I personally love it when things arrive as promised or before). Working on placing our second order for this month!! Great product. Excellent customer service.
