I have to admit I was skeptical when this came in the mail because the packaging wasn't what I expected (as ridiculous as that sounds). It honestly looked cheap, however, it works great! I used it to make some Christmas presents, and it worked like a charm! It has so many uses for creativity as well as practicality. I found myself using it for so many different things (from embossing to removing stickers)! Great little tool for a great price. It's lightweight and easy to use.

I am only removing one star because I wish I had a little bit of a cooler setting. It works great, but it gets really hot.

Super handy for a fiber arts crafter. I work with a lot of acrylic yarn and this heat gun is the perfect tool for neutralizing fuzzies. A quick blast over a project cleans the yarn right up without causing that melted plastic crunchy feel. I’ve also used this for several other applications- flattening rugs, heating adhesive for removal…etc. can’t beat the price. A longer cord would be handy but the money saved leaves plenty for a small extension cord.

Works well with wax or melt and pour soap. Be careful though as it gets pretty hot pretty quickly. Has a kickstand so you don't burn or melt your work surface.

This heat gun works great. Price is right. Lightweight. Easy to handle. Seems pretty durable. Returning because the cord to way way too short! My plug is right beneath my workspace and the heat gun will barely reach my craft. No wiggle room.
