impressive for cheap paper shades
For a cheap shade, these have been pretty great. I used them on my front porch where it gets the most sun all year long and gets super hot in the summer. They block a lot of the direct light, but still allow natural light in. Temperature was much better out there this past summer, too and my house plants thrived out there, especially the ones that die in direct sunlight. The shades stuck really well where I put them up, as long as I wiped down the area with water and rubbing alcohol first. I fully expected I would have to get new ones again for the following summer, but they have held up surprisingly well, considering they are in moisture and some wind, now it's halfway through winter and they are still hanging just fine. They did drop a little, or stretch further after a little time, but that was fine, just clipped a couple more folds in the clip. They are paper, so there is a couple spots you can tell got quite a bit of water on them. But again, they are just paper shades, not meant to be permanent. And when you keep that in mind, they are better than you would expect.

Convenient, Easy to Install, and Effective
The Redi Shade No Tools Original Light Filtering Pleated Paper Shade is an amazing product for quick and easy window coverings. The 48" W x 72" L size fits perfectly on my windows, and the white color provides a clean, neutral look that blends well with any room decor. The light filtering feature is fantastic, letting in just the right amount of light while maintaining privacy. The no-tools installation is incredibly convenient! I was able to set them up in minutes—simply peel and stick, and they were good to go. The pleated design adds a nice touch, and the shades feel sturdy despite being paper. Plus, the 6-pack gives you great value for the price, making it easy to cover multiple windows. This product offers great value for money, excellent functionality, and is easy to use. If you’re looking for an affordable, hassle-free solution for window coverings, I highly recommend the Redi Shade Pleated Paper Shade! Highly recommend!

Must be my window sills
I have a brand new house. Had it built 6 months ago.Ordered these as a cheap way to get blinds in my house until I can afford some fancier ones.Got these suckers out, cut them to size just how I wanted them, and boom. Hung them all up.Went to sleep.... Woke up in the middle of the night to my English Bulldog barking his nuts off. Growling, barking, snorting, slobbering, etc. This also got my German Shepherd/Malamute mixed dog freaking out also.So I was certain I either had someone trying to break into my new house, or somehow I let my new house already get possessed.Either way, I sprung outta bed and ran out to my living room with just a gun and my underwear. Took me but 2 seconds to realize why they freaked out.All of the blinds had fallen to the ground. Every single one of them. And I wasn't about to go shooting some paper blinds. So I was frustrated and left them there and went back to sleep. The following morning I stuck them all back up. I used a lot of force the first time around when sticking them up. This time I made sure to apply an EXTRA amount of force. 45 minutes later, they all came down, like exactly 2 minutes apart from each other. These blinds are literally just paper. You use clips to hold them up. When you clip them, the edges of the blinds fan downwards where as the location of the clips holds them up. So it looks weird. Also wherever you clip them, will definitely wrinkle the blinds. Meaning you won't want to lower them later. They look fine. You can thumb tack them to your window sill if you want to. Just don't plan on adjusting them too often if you actually want to go this route. But as for me I threw them away. And just to clarify, I washed the top of my window sill just to be sure I got all of the dust out. I let them dry before I hung up my blinds. It's just too much weight for the adhesive. Oh well. You live and you learn.

OK for temporary use - but the glue doesn't keep these attached (SEE RECENT UPDATED REVIEW)
UPDATE: I've had these 'temporary' shades up far longer than I planned and/or expected and they have held up quite well. Yes, I had to add additional two-sided tape in a couple of places, but all in all, my bargain has turned out to be a real money-saver until I can afford what I truly want. I've had to raise my rating to 4 stars.I bought these to use as temporary window covering. They definitely look better than putting sheets (or worse) up at your windows. They are easy to trim and install but I found that the glued part does not stay attached to my window frame. I now have pretty horrible looking bands of tape holding these up. So, they'll be even more temporary than I intended. I also found that without the clips securing the bottom, the shades fell out of the window sill and began to stretch out.My largest windows are 53" tall. When I first installed these, they were about 6" short of the bottom, but in a day, the pleats relaxed and they reached the window sill. Lastly, when I opened the boxes, the shades were bent on one end. Fortunately, I did not need the full 48% width. These need to be packed in a box that's about 3" longer.PROS: Inexpensive, easy to install, provide a degree of privacy and look perfectly ok from the outside.CONS: The glue doesn't hold, the shades arrived bent and the length may not be sufficient

Super-easy installation
I loved the product. Just what I needed during the rehab of a rental. I made the mistake of buying open box. While the box and the contents were in great shape, the blinds had been used and the adhesive tape was now adhered to to next blind in the box. I will and did buy again. Much better quality that the Home Center products. Keep in mind, these are temporary paper blinds you cut to fit yourself. My three star review is only because the condition of the open box product.
