Carry case for Tom Tom - not as described
Good:I am able to fit my (small) TomTom One 130-S into the case.Price is OK.How:I place the unit on one side, facing the case's side (as several people have pointed out). The suction cup has to be taken off and placed adjacent to the GPS. The power cord is adjacent to the suction cup. The usb cable is inserted behind the mesh opposite the gps and in line with the power cord. I am able to get the manual in behind the mesh.Bad:The photo shows 2 interior elastic straps but only 1 is provided. It's in the center so does not hold the gps in place (which is at one side). If the unit came as shown it would hold the parts better. The dimensions provided are inaccurate. The depth of the unit is only 1.5 " (approx) and this is the exterior dimension. Amazon shows approx 3" (which would have accommodated the suction unit attached to the main unit). The other dimensions are pretty close to the interior dimensions but not exactly. Addendum - I noticed that there are other dimensions provided within another area of the product description - this section does show 1.5" as the depth - but shows only 5" length - In short The seller needs to correct all references to dimensions and change the phot and references to 2 elastic straps)Conclusion.Based on the overall appearance (which is decent). The cost (OK) and the fact that I could get everything inside - I will keep the case hoping the zipper doesn't break from the slight pressure caused by the tight fit. However, I can't recommend it because of the error in the dimensions which may affect owners of slightly larger gps units than mine.I suggest you assemble all the parts you intend to place into the case and measure the depth, width and length of the bundle you create to be sure it will squeeze into the approx 1.5" depth 4.75" width and 7.75" length (approx interior measurements)

Hard/firm, fits TomTom XL like a glove
My TomTom XL fits in this case perfectly, with very little to no wiggle room to slide around (which I like). The case is convex and firm enough that the sides resist being pushed in very well. I put the TomTom in with the screen facing the smooth side, so the compartments inside don't bother me. This is a better case than I could have hoped for, given the price. I would buy a second for my old TomTom One, but this case would be too big for it (too much sliding around inside the case for my taste). There is no room inside for the power cord or suction cup mount, but I didn't buy this to protect those; I bought it to protect the TomTom's touch screen.MY CASE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE ONE CURRENTLY PICTURED. There is no "G" and the outside is more of a fabric than a smooth surface. One side is smooth, without logo or anything, the other side has a circle in the middle with a line running across the width of the case. Also, mine came with a carabiner but it was attached differently. My purchase history is showing the "new" picture, but the side frame of this review window still shows the one I received so I'll take a screen shot and upload that as a customer image if possible. Maybe the version I received is just currently out of stock or something.UPDATE JUNE 28, 2011: The product images seem to be switching back and forth between the one I received, and the one with a big "G" on the side. I'll upload an image of the one with a "G", too, so just in case you receive it at least it won't be a complete surprise.

Bought as an accessory gift
I bought this as an accessory gift for my sister for a Christmas present. She had wanted a GPS; so, I bought her a Tom-Tom, a dash mount, and this case. It was shipped separately and arrive 2 days after Christmas but a few hours before she left. Therefore, I did not have time to evaluate it properly but it appeared to be a well built product with a semi-hardened case sides which impressed me, I don't know about her though as she left soon after it arrived. It seemed to server the purpose though, something to carry and protect her GPS from dust and other pollutants. I personally gave it 4 stars instead of 3 because it had those semi-hardened sides which most cases are completely soft sided.

Serves Its Purpose
This case is good for the money. I read the reviews after I purchased it and felt I perhaps made a mistake in buying it. Many people gave this case an unfavorable review. One even said, "say goodbye to your GPS screen" alluding that it would break/crack against the cord when closed. Well, common sense told me to turn the GPS over so that the screen is protected against the outer shell of the case. DA!! Everything fits neatly into it and is not a problem for me. The only thing that doesn't fit in the case is the suction holder for the windshield. No big deal. To sum it up, I am happy with my purchase.

Great case
I bought this to store my TomTom in and I am very happy with it. I wanted my TomTom with me when I flew to a vacation destination where I would be renting a car, and the case held it neatly and compactly in my carry-on.You can fit the TomTom, mounting bracket, and power cable in the case by storing it this way:- Attach the bracket to the back of the unit, folding the bracket down (i.e. "in half").- Place the TomTom under the elastic straps with the screen face down against the fabric.- Put the power cable in the net pocket. > To make sure it all fits, slide the TomTom to one side of the case and place the large end of the cable (the plug that goes into the cigarette lighter) on the opposite side of this. Loosely pack the rest of the cord under the netting.

TomTomcarrying case
The tomtom case is a little small and you can just about fit the tomtom in it snugly without an peripherals like, usb cable or charger, but for the money it was worth the cost. I will just carry the power cord separately and that should solve the problem. I bought the case to protect the tomtom if it should fall, as I will be removing it at night so as not to allow someone the invitation to steal it.I have heard many cases of theft of this device.Maybe Tomtom is the future could find a way to deactivate the tomtom if it is stolen which would be a deterrent. It is a very solid case however so it should work ok.

The Case is ideal for my Tom Tom 280 and the associate charging cable. There is plenty of room for the Sat Nav and suitable padding to protect it.
