I love this gorgeous mandala coloring book. This is a midnight edition so they are on black paper. The size of book is 7 1/2 inches by 9 inches. One picture per page. You can lay something under whatever page you color so it doesn't leak through to next mandala. The paper is a nice texture and thickness. I can't wait to start coloring in this one. I think metallics or neons would look wonderful. I will post some photos when I get some done. There is a variety of mandalas from easy to difficult so everyone should be able to find some they love. Not sure how many pages this is but there are lots of choices. So I have colored a couple of these now and I found the alcohol ink markers don't do well on this paper. It runs. You could make a copy on other paper to use alcohol markers. I found gel pens worked wonderful.

Love my Mandala Magic coloring book by Pegasus! When my first copy of this book arrived and as I saw other pages colored and posted to the Pegasus Facebook group, I realized that a good portion of my pages were offset during printing. I contacted Amazon and was immediately sent out a new copy. No issues at all with this copy. Thanks, Amazon Customer Service!Mandala Magic is printed on relatively thick black paper, perfect to use gel pens on...which is my favorite medium. I love every mandala which ranges from immediate to advanced line art. You will not get bored with these designs!I highly recommend any of the coloring books published by Pegasus!

45 medium to intricate mandalas on black paper. The paper is black on the back side also so if you get bleed though it doesn't show.No matter what medium you use the colors really stand out against the black and it is a very dark black not gray tones.Some of the mandalas will require a ultra fine tip pin or very sharp pencil to get into the tiny spots. But they are so worth it., some of the prettiest I have seen.The art work comes from aftershock with the agreement of each artist and they are each listed in the back of the book.It's a small thing but I love what the cover is made of. It almost feels like a light suade. It feels really cool.

Beautiful book with a large variety of mandalas. There is not one page in this book that I do not care for. Every page is a treat for the eyes and I look forward to seeing how they turn out. The black backgrounds really make the colored pages pop. There are a couple different skill levels but it is pretty middle of the road for the most part. Nothing super hard and nothing too easy. I hope you grab yourself one of these books, you will love the mandalas in this book.

Mandala Magic is definitely magic. The 71/2 by 9" coloring book is filled with a wonderful complication of mandalas that everyone will love and want to color. As the cover states, it's a midnight edition so all the single sided illustrations have a black background. The paper is nice quality. Any form of media used will really stand out on these pages. This is a must have for anyone who enjoys the art of mandalas.

Mandala Magic is printed on black paper which really makes the colored picture pop. Glitter or metallic gel pens really show up with pizzazz.The paper is suitable for colored pencils or crayons as well. The drawings are very intricate and tend to be smaller in size. It is just enough of a challenge to make it interesting. I found this book unique to the other mandala books I have used or seen. The drawings are printed on one side of the black paper with a nice variety of mandalas.

This is my favorite Pegasus' coloring book because of the variety and black pages. I intend getting other coloring books in this small size. There's almost no bleed through with my gel pens. A variety of butterflies, flowers and cute little patterns.

I liked this book but alot of the mandala are almost the same. I do wish the black for the designs was darker, it makes the colors pop

Papers still too thin compare with an average coloring book. Beautiful illustrations, but I’d only recommend if the paper quality improve (even with little higher price).
