Great Aquarium Light for 10-20 Gallon Tank
I'm extremely happy with this product. I'm using it with a 20 gallon breeder tank. It's adequately bright and the function button is easy to use. The black casing matches my tank trim and looks great. My plants have been growing well since I added the light. The price on this was great too.

Works fine.
Purchased for my hermit crab tank. She’s much more active since lighting her tank. The LED lights are not hot and do not heat the tank.Would I? Buy again?…….probably not. I’d find one with the off switch. However, if it’s being used on a fish tank that doesn’t need to be turned off it would be fine.

THERE IS A FIX!!! For these ***poorly designed*** great CRI lights that make them 5 STARS
So dumb of a design that it doesn't matter how good the lighting is. Every time you turn these off, and back on, they change settings. So you can't get consistent lighting with a normal light timer, which for me makes them ridiculous and useless! Edit (hold on, there is a fix)The other downside is the voltage transformer is built into the control switch. So WHEN the transformer goes bad (and they all do in time) you can't just replace and or upgrade the transformer. Also the controller/transformer gets hotter than most, and in my experience with hundreds of LED lights it makes me question it's durability and it's ability to last. but the price is so good...The ProsThe Color rendition is great! Better than a lot of very expensive lights. 2 out of the 3 setting are VERY VERY GOOD. The best of any budget Aquarium LED I've ever seen. (personally I think the green LED's don't help much and they seem to wash out some of the more eye pleasing colors. I will block the greens in some tanks with some electrical tape on the outer lens cover)Lighting intensity is also very good. I'm sure like most cheap LED's these will dim some with time because the fixture gets hot and heat tends to be hard on LED's. These find of things to be expected with cheaper lighting so not a big deal. Conclusion If they remembered the last setting I would have giving them 5 stars for the price. Edit; I change the rating to 5 stars because the fix.THE FIX!For not remembering sittings.Get a advance digital timer. (I use the BN-LINK 7 Day Heavy Duty Digital Programmable Timer)Sync the light setting. It will requires some math. The right timer can be programed to cycle on your lights 3 times within three minutes. So that way, you get the same lighting every day. You can also cycle for desired different lighting throughout the day.So with the right timer it makes it a 5 STAR low price lighting system.

Good for a month.
This light worked great for about a month, then all the color modes other than the regular white light stopped working. That was fine for me since I only used the white light anyway, but it was a little disappointing.Fast forward 9 months later, the light stopped working all together. Now, LEDs should last years so I figured something happened to the cord or the switch got fried, so I took the cord and switch apart and tested the components with a multi meter, everything worked which meant the issue was in the light itself. When I tried to take apart the light itself (I did like this light while it worked, so I wasn't ready to give up on it yet), I discovered all of the screws holding the fixture itself together came pre-stripped, so there was no easy way to get it open to examine the diodes themselves. As I mentioned above, LEDs should last years. The fact that this light only made it a few months indicates either a) low-grade materials, b) really poor workmanship, or c) both (most likely from what I saw).I will not be buying this light again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Inexpensive powerful aquarium led
Very powerful at a very low price. Should be good for a 5 to10 gallon planted tank

poor design
The light is okay and has three different settings. It comes with a "user manual". The drawing in the manual does not show the cord and "switch box" in the proper layout. It says to keep the switch box away from water as it is not water proof. Yet the on/off switch is at the end of the cord down by the wall electrical outlet. That places the switch within the drip loop and makes it difficult to use as the switch on the power cord would be near the floor and/or behind furniture. The user manual shows the switch box closer to the light fixture. I can not use this fixture if the on/off switch is down by the electrical outlet and behind furniture; I'm disabled and can not reach it twice a day to turn it off/on. My unit is the 14W model; perhaps other models have the on/off switch in a different configuration.
