Excellent for the price
This is a review of a spin 513 with snapdragon processor, part # R841T-S4ZG. In my opinion this chromebook is an excellent value at the price I paid, which was $247. It has a bright display, backlit keyboard, and a good touchpad. Sound is adequate. It has a nice look and feel, and it's lightweight - 2.5 lb on my digital kitchen scale. In overall appearance it resembles our spin 713, except it doesn't have the 3:2 screen. However, it certainly isn't blazingly fast. It scored 77 on the CrXPRT 2 performance benchmark, compared to 168 on our spin 713. Overall I think this spin 513 was a very good purchase.

Honest Review
I think this is the first review I have ever done lol So I bought this laptop after my Levono Yoga C90 finally went out. Going from a state of the art Laptop at the time (2018) and with an overall price tag of $1400.00, I could not see myself going back to anything else. (It had a dolby atmos soundbar built in lol) It had everything and more than I needed. And when I decided to buy something I could take on the go and do my day to day. I came about this laptop on Amazon. I needed something that would able to do what I mostly do on my laptop. Word processing and watching YouTube and the other streaming services I cant live without lol and check into other social media if I felt like it. I spent two days doing research, and looking at YouTube videos and reviews of this laptop. When I finally got it home, I was surprised how thin and light it was. I am a musician and I was surprised how clear and how loud the sound would get. Screen was very clear and bright. The one thing I had to get used to, is the operating system. I have used Windows for 30 plus years. I was surprised how easy it was to learn Chrome OS. There are MANY features I miss from Windows. But for what I need it to do its holding up . Overall for this price I am happy. NOTE: I have seen some reviewers say there is not a back lit keyboard. THERE IS ONE. I would NOT of bought this laptop if there was not one. Thats the first thing I look for. This laptop is like an electric hybrid, light simple to use and will get the job done. IF you are looking for a juiced up race car with all the bells and whistles, then this is not the right laptop for you. But if you wannt something affordable and does all the above, then this might be for you

There are 3 models of this Chromebook
There are 3 models of this Chromebook the 1h, 2h, and one that could be used with a sim card. The 1h the first model the one I bought has a 1080 screen with gorilla glass which is awesomeIt comes with a free bagThe build of the Chromebook is awesomePlenty fast, the fact that you can use this in different positions for viewing is awesome. The speakers are good for this Chromebook, but could be better.I've read that the brightness is 300 nits,I have compared this screen to other 250nits or 300nits displays if this really is a 300nit display? and I have to say that the colors and brightness of this screen is better thanks to the ips gorilla glass. But in the sun there is a glare, use this in the shade. The 2h model from what I have read has a 2k screen resolution , which is the one I really wanted, but also keep in mind that the 2h model is $300 more dollars then the 1h.I really recommend this 1h version, the battery charges very fast,I did a battery test for watching movies and tv on this and it lasted 6 hours and 30 minutes for video non stop, after 20 more minutes I had to charge it.So in closing, fast charging, gorilla glass ips screen 1080p, long lasting battery, good enough speakers, awesome design, it flips to use in many positions, and it's fast when browsing the web,I really like this Chromebook, and the price is good for all that your getting.

Great Chromebook but no backlit keyboard as described in the ad!
It seems like I replace my chromebook every 2 years. I think this makes number 4. I don't replace them because they are bad laptops. I replace them because I always seem to spill some kind of liquid in them which damages the circuits and makes the laptop less functional and reliable. This laptop has a touchscreen and is by far the best Chromebook that I have ever owned. Be advised that this Chromebook states that there is a backlit keyboard but it does not. I reached out to Amazon support to swap it out for the correct model with backlit keyboard and they just sent me the exact same model back without the backlit keyboard. Very frustrating, but other than that, I am very pleased with it. Although I'd prefer a backlit keyboard, my time is way too valuable to keep playing the send it back and receive the same laptop, game.

UPDATED
Keyboard is flimsy and falling apart already. SLOW after required updates. Backlight on keyboard and speakers no longer work unless plugged in. USB port just died. Barely had 4 months and ready to scrap. Save yourself the trouble, there's a reason it's the cheapest in the category....Pros: responsive touch screen, backlit keyboard, lightweight, portable, excellent battery life, inexpensive.Cons: not as quick as it could be (but for the price plenty fast), screen glare in light, top shell is aluminum but bottom shell is plastic. The model is from 2021, the one I got was manufactured May 2021.I primarily use this for travel and laying in bed, for those purposes it works great. Don't expect this to hold up to a more powerful laptop, but for browsing or for things like Netflix and YouTube, it's great.
