Large... but gets the job done.
I bought a pair of these for winter hiking. There are pros and cons to these pants but otherwise they do exactly what I bought them for. Here are my thoughts! As I said, I needed something to both keep me warm and to protect me from the elements. This does both of those things for me and I have worn them both around town and on some hiking trips (most notably in the Smoky Mountains). These are very warm pants. I tried to wear these on a warmer Tennessee day and that was not a great idea! That being said, I've always stayed warm wearing these in colder weather. Just a small tradeoff. Also, I normally would wear 32/29, but Wrangler doesn't offer that so I always buy from them 32/30 instead. This is normally okay for the most part except these seem to be extra long! They even fold under my shoes while I'm walking. The only time I ever got them to stay up is when I was at work and wearing my boots. I get that you want more fabric to block the wind and protect me from the elements, but this is way too much. It makes me wish they had a 32/28.Speaking of size, it's also a bit wide even by Wrangler standards. I have Wrangler jeans for work that are 32/30 and will stay up even without a belt, but when I went hiking in the mountains I forgot my belt once, and they kept sliding down! What's weird is that sometimes it fits and sometimes it doesn't, but I don't know if that's the pant's problem or if that's me actually getting wider/narrower throughout the day, but this is the only pair of pants that has done this to me.With the negatives out of the way, here's all the positives...Extraordinarily sturdy! I accidentally slipped on a cliff and smashed my knee into a sharp tree stump once, it didn't even scratch my pants! It washed right out (and I'm okay). The pockets are small but plentiful. My phone (Galaxy S10+) with a case will barely fit in the side pocket, but it does indeed fit. And the materials seem sturdy.Fits great with boots! Maybe not so much with small shoes like I prefer, but then again that isn't what the pants are made for so I can't bring myself to lower the rating for it.Overall, I have already went and recommended this pair to my friends. It's not to be confused with their lightweight "plastic" outdoor gear, this is for someone who is serious about the outdoors and wants something more like jeans but even tougher. I personally enjoy the color, style, and comfort of it too!

Outstanding pants for the price
Great fit. Super comfortable, stylish and tough. My only beef is the too small pockets. Still five star pants at this price point.

Pretty good
Not water-resistant, doesn't claim to be.5'8", 200 pounds, wear a 36x29 in jeans. Ordered a size up (38") as others suggested. Which is definitely too big (need a belt to keep them up), but a little baggy is no problem. They're definitely *long* for a 30 inch inseam. Fine with boots, but shoes would definitely end with the backs getting scuffed.Good fabric density and comfort. Quiet, as other folks have said, in a way water resistant pants are not.

Very comfortable pants with great stretchy waist.
These pants are incredibly comfortable and allow me to move comfortably throughout the day. The waist and legs stretch with me and allow me to move swiftly without issues. I highly reccomend these pants for anyone who has to climb stairs and lunge. The most comfortable waist I have found on work pants stretchy and wide it does not fall below my hips I do not have to worry about showing my crack.

Great Pant
If you’re looking for something durable as well as comfortable this is a great option. I work as an HVAC Installer and we are in odd positions and putting our clothing through the ringer. So I look for clothing that is cheaper bc I know it’s going to get torn, stained, ruined but I also look for clothing that is going to perform and this pant does that. Def worth the around $40 price.

Good fit
Well designed and engineered. Good quality too. For me, the biggest plus is the large back center belt loop. This is often where the belt places the most stress on a loop and the wider loop this one comes with, more can handle it.

Good overall
Nice workmanship and comfortable. Material is a little light don't expect a heavy pant.

Totalmente recomendable.
