Looks Great! Runs Quiet!
I did quite a bit of research as to what exhaust fan is rated the best. Some researches showed fans that ranked high that I simply wasn’t interested in due to the size of my bathroom. After looking at many and reading the pros & cons, I determined that you’ll never find that perfect product but you may find one that is a pretty safe bet to go with.Even though I looked at many well known brands, I kept coming back to this one. It’s ranked in the top 10 by consumers & rated to be able to get rid of the moist air for my size bathroom with no trouble. After reading about what “sones” is (and it’s decibel reading) I’m pleased that this fan is rated at 0.9 sones which is very quiet. Now although I haven’t installed it yet, installation looks pretty easy (new construction). I did test it first to see if it is in good working order and to just find out how quiet it really is. I was very pleased! The light doesn’t seem to be very bright but I can probably change that.Overall, very happy with it and would definitely recommend it!

Well built, quiet unit.
I recently replaced a cheap, noisy fan with this unit.. It appears to be very well built. It's quiet, but moves a lot of air. There are a couple of points worth sharing.First, it is heavy so just attaching one side of the unit to a joist won't be enough. The other end will sag. Therefore, I used the brackets provided to attach it to adjacent joists. Problem solved. If you are installing this as a replacement, just figure you're going to have drywall repair around it and start off by cutting a hole large enough to enable you to work around it.The instructions are brief, basically telling you to hire an installer. However, if you are an experienced DIYer and have some basic electrical knowledge, its no big deal.and a fairly easy install. The don't like the light quality and it isn't very bright. This may be a problem if this unit will be your only light source in a bathroom. If it wasn't for this, I would probably have given it five stars.

Quiet is relative
This fan/light is a whole lot better than the contractor grade that was installed in my house for the last 12 years. However, according to past reviews one would think (as did I), that this fan couldn't be heard by the naked ear. That is not the case. I'm no hearing expert, but I can still tell from the other room (about 20 feet away) that the fan is running. All that said, I like the amount of air this fan moves and the fact that there are no weird noises, squeaking, squealing or singing coming from this fan. It is constant, moves a lot of air and doesn't disrupt my life. For that I think I would buy another one if I need it in one of my other bathrooms.

Easy Peasy! From packaging, instructions, finish product ...
Easy Peasy! From packaging, instructions, finish product ... this fan is quiet, productive, and everything and more than I expected for an exhaust fan. The instructions were clear and precise, even included a cardboard shield to protect the fan from debris that may occur from construction finishing ie plaster, and paint.I actually had ordered the same brand of fan that I am replacing and it seemed to be of the same low quality and not updated as far as noise level or design. Kaze has it figured out!

Louder than advertised and not up to code requirements
The actual installation wasn't too bad, aside from needing to modify the brace to make it fit right. But once we installed it and turned it on (not restricted with a vent at this point even) it was quite noisy and air flow was weaker than it should have been.Light was a dull yellow, closer to a 2200 K light bulb. Not very appealing.I'm not an electrician, but I'm pretty confident that all wiring connections need to be within a junction box of some kind, whether it is integrated into the unit or separate from it. Not only it there not a junction box, but there is not even a place to connect a junction box without drilling holes in the unit. The loose wires dangling from the fan were too short to properly connect to a separate junction box, and no mention of a junction box was mentioned in the instructions. Following the instructions as shown IS NOT ALLOWED BY CODE! This is unsafe, a fire hazard, and could get you into trouble with an inspector. We returned this immediately! Please do not buy this fan if you actually care about your home or family's safety.

Reviews Did Not Lie....Great Fans
Very pleased.. I did a lot of review reading on Amazon before choosing this model. I replaced all 3 bath exhaust fans with this unit & could not be happier. So quiet & light works perfectly as a night light for the guest bath as I put it on a separate switch. It's an investment with electrician costs, but after 12 years with the old builder units, it was time for a real upgrade. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! There is virtually no sound. Talk about a step up on the scale. The electrician said they were quality units-- complete with all he could need to adapt the current set-up.

Quiet and Powerful
Great product. Replaced a 20 yr old nutone. It has much more ventilation, better lighting, and extremely quiet. Only negatives: instructions could be a lot mere detailed. The night light is quite bright for a night light. Guess it depends on what size room you put it in. Had the door to the room open a few inches, and the fan sucked it closed. Can’t say how long it will last, but it’s great so far.
