Quilter's Dream Cotton White Select Batting (60" x 60") Throw

I love this smooth, scrim-free cotton batting. Right now, I'm using it when making cotton-fabric Tidy Trays (from Bernina's We All Sew project archives). So far, I've made two dozen Tidy Trays for gifts, so I can confidently say that the batting stays in place for this application. No bunching. I haven't found pilling or fuzzy-wuzzies flying around my sewing area. Nor have I found its fibers pulled through with my stitches. It provides a good structure for each 8.8" x 11.11" initial project piece (before turning the trays inside out). By this, I mean that the trays hold their structural integrity well -- floors and walls.Some of the trays I'm making have plain floors. Others have quilted floors. Either way, each tray has turned out to be a dream because of this cotton batting. If I were making something that needs thicker batting, I would double this batting or use a batting that's thicker. Don't get me wrong, this thinner batting is dense. It isn't finger-poke-through airy like some cheap battings.A++

This is a high quality, excellent batting. I especially like to use cotton batting and It is very difficult to find it in white. It is usually ecru and that does not look as nice under a quilt top which has a lot of white in it. The ecru batting tends to diminish the contrast desired to be seen in the finished quilt. This batting is smooth and consistent in thickness; no thin or low spots. I also especially like the 60" X 60" size. That is nice to have on hand for quilts in baby or lap throw size.

Good batting, slightly thicker than Warm and Natural batting and thus a bit warmer. However, it seems to be more linty than W&N, so have a good lint brush available if majority of quilt is a dark solid color(s). I found this out the hard way!!!!

This is the only brand I use. The Select thickness is a great weight for most quilts from baby quilts to bed quilts, but I also use Deluxe and Supreme thickness occasionally. Washes beautifully, with slight shrinkage, giving your quilts a slightly puckered look and feel.

I love this batting! I use it to make wonderful quilts for friends and family and it is always perfect. The quilts come out soft and sweet

Smooth sewing, and it holds up when washed. I used it to make fabric bowl cozies, and it's great for insulating.

I have used this product to make several whole cloth baby quilts. It has worked out well. I would not have wanted anything thicker.

Excellent product. I have purchased it a couple of times and it worked great in the bowl cozy’s that I was making. I needed 100% cotton for that project.
