EDIT: After 15 months of use, I am MORE happy with this watch than I was when I got it. 10/10 recommend!!! I mainly use it for running or trail running but have used several of the sports options and have had a wonderful experience with all of them. This has helped my training so much with its accuracy and being able to see where I was last year with pace/heart rate and such. I do use a heart rate monitor with it at this point (I wanted a continuous monitor for training), but it synced easily and works beautifully with it! I can't say enough good things about the watch, the App, and the computer data when you plug the watch into the computer for more details.I do not like change because I just want to run, and not figure out a new watch while running... my husband is a runner and has a very expensive watch. I did not want to spend the same amount as him so this price really intrigued me. This watch can do as much as you want, or as little. When you hook it up to the computer, you'll see Data analyzing every run, pace, HR and more. But if you want to start running, you push two buttons and go. Extremely simple. I highly recommend it.It has lots of settings where you can get it to have a pre-loaded workout program on the watch, but I have not tried that yet because I already had my training plan established. I've used it for cycling, hiking, walking, running, and weight training. Those are the only features I can vouch for but I've had no issues with it. I've used it training at least four days a week for two months and I've only had the heart rate feature act funny twice. I believe the heart rate tracking is very accurate. (For heart rate training). I absolutely love this watch and have nothing negative to say about.

Good Watch But Too Dim To Use Outdoors Daytime
This is the POLAR VANTAGE M Advanced Running & Multisport Watch 1st generation. Polar has always had a good reputation for accurate heart tracking which I paired with the Polar H10 strap. The accuracy was perfect as I wore it during a nuclear stress test where I wore the watch and strap and watched it calculate with the cardiac EKG. The accuracy was spot on albeit about a 5-seconds lag which has meaningless value to me. I was looking for a continous reading while playing high level tennis & pickleball. Without the chest strap, you're not going to get a 100% accurate reading with any wrist (strapless) smartwatch whether its a recent iWatch or Garmin. I personally needed that level of accuracy and got it with the Polar watch & strap. The problem was the watch was too dim to read the display in daylight. Talking with Polar Tech Support there is no way to increase brightness on this 1st gen Polar M and of course the backlight only helps at night. I wanted to get a constant read during a tough match and the watch was useless even with 20/20 vision. The seond gen Polar M I believe has a brightness level but I have not tested it.

Great product
Accurate distance unlike most trackers. Abundant data for training. Love the big numbers.

Charges quickly. Not sure the cardiac measurements are accurate.
I’m not sure about the cardiac measurement function. Really like the quick easy charging.

Quit at 2.5 months!
What a waste of money, didn't even last 3 months and 2 of the buttons (the main ones!) don't work and recharging no longer works, only use it a few times a week for an hour, very disappointed with this as I've been buying Polar chest strap watch HR monitors for 30 yrs, but this cost twice any other I've bought.

Exceedingly sufficient.
The product keep track of my body ability to perform at its best.

Some flaws, maybe more appropriate for outdoor exercisers
Replacing Polar A370 and staying with Polar brand to retain years of data. Was happy with the $100 price point.I think this watch will be okay but it does have some negatives. I think it's probably better suited for runners. I use it primarily for indoor training and daily activity/sleep tracking. I still use my H10 chest strap paired with my phone for distance cycling.I have small wrists (5.75") and the face takes up the entire width of my wrist and huge in comparison. But it seems most current polar models are the same size. The small size band fits well though. The display is quite dark when inside. It's fine if you are taking a deliberate look at your watch, but not if you wanted to view it consistently during a workout.I'm also disappointed by the daily activity tracking. A370 would tell you how many minutes left to reach your goal (standing/walking/running) and I found that really motivating. This one just shows the percentage and then I have to think through the math of how much time that would equate to.Overall not entirely sure this is the best one for my needs.
