I have an Air Sense 11 and my supplier recently sent a new climate line hose that wasn’t working as well. I was waking up tired and not feeling well. I thought I was getting sick and then when I went to clean the hose I realized that it had a tear (I’d only had it and been using it for 7 days!) and I immediately realized that was my issue. I couldn’t get a replacement same day from my supplier so I came to look for something here and found this. It’s not a climate line but I just wanted something that would get me the needed therapy until I could get a replacement. I received the item quickly and was happy to see that it was compatible with my machine! That night I hooked myself up and hoped for the best. Immediately I noticed that the air coming from this tube seemed much stronger than the one from my previous hoses. The diameter is wider so that made sense. I went to sleep and wondered if I would notice the lack of heated air. The next morning I woke up and my nose was dry! I woke up naturally after 6 hours and felt rested for the first time in more than a week! My previous three hoses (so for the last 6+ months) have been driving me nuts! No matter how I adjusted my settings, I was waking up with a wet nose and water in my nose mask. I had my machine checked and it wasn’t that. After almost a week of using this hose I now realize that I wasn’t getting sick and I’ve likely had not been receiving adequate therapy for months! For the price, this is such a great product! It functions much better than my more expensive hose. I just cleaned it and because it’s wider I felt it was easier to clean and get dry. I am ordering another one to have as a backup and am not sure that I’d go back to the climate line as I think those are not as effective.

Ordinarily, I would not review something I've only had for a few day, but this if different. If you have sleep apnea, you can't afford to just sit around and wait. My hose had a tear in it. I taped it up; it got another and another. Now, this was during a period that I traveled a few times within a six week period, so I was moving the machine a lot. (The machine and its parts should be able to withstand travel, but I digress). Anyway, when I called for a replacement piece, of course, I was told it was not time, and a new hose would cost $40, so I decided to try this. The circumference is slightly larger than the other one, and it is just the host. The clip part of the headgear is not included, but nothing was wrong with my old one, so it is fine. In my opinion, this one is sturdier than the one I get from the doctor's office, and definitely, the plastic between the ridges is sturdier. This one is not "climate controlled" whatever that means. As far as use, I could not tell any difference, but I can tell you my scores have been higher the last few days than they were even before I was taping up tears/holes. It is very likely that I will contact the doctors office to tell them that I will use these much cheaper hoses if they continue to work for me. I see no reason to pay $40 when a $10 hose will do the same thing. I will come back in a couple of weeks to comment on how things are doing.
