Hayward RCX11000 Impeller Replacement for Select Hayward Robotic Pool Cleaners

This is an exact fit impeller for my Hayward TigerShark QC pool cleaner. Great product.

My Hayward Shark pool cleaner start going around and around in small circles. I opened up the filter compartment and plastic parts came out. I pieced the remnants together and figured it had to be the impeller that had broken, (I looked up a diagram online of my cleaner). I ordered this replacement impeller and installed it myself in a matter of about 10 minutes or less. I was delighted to know that I repaired my cleaner by replacing such an inexpensive part. I didn't even need my hubby's help for this easy fix.

After having a bad and expensive weekend; tree fell on my fence and arbor, garage door opener broke and then my Sharkvac rear end started to raise up and stopped cleaning.After a quick Google search found out it was the impeller. Ordered a new one and it arrived the next day. Took 5 minutes to change out and now works perfectly.Saved hundreds of dollars on having my pool store diagnose and order parts!

Easy to replace... At a good price

Although the product description only mentions the Hayward TigerShark QC and the Hayward SharkVac, this part fit perfectly on my older Dolphin and Dolphin Commander models. Since the impeller can easily be broken by a twig jammed through the opening, it's handy to have this replacement readily available from Amazon. At the time of my purchase, it was about half the price of any other online retailer, and with much faster shipping via Prime.By the way, replacing this part is the easiest DIY repair imaginable. Takes about 2 minutes and the only tool required is a screwdriver. (Hint: After removing the screw, you may have to pry the old impeller a bit to get it off. Be sure to pull straight up so you don't damage the metal shaft underneath.)Two reasons for a four-star rating instead of five: It didn't come with a replacement screw (you CAN use the old one), and it should be sturdier so it doesn't fail so often in the first place (this is my second replacement in 4 years).

Thanks to Amazon, I was able to order a replacement impeller within a hour after the original broke.This is one of the rare times I ordered a product from an independent seller (through Amazon) because the impeller was not being sold by Amazon (which is my preferred vendor).The seller amazed me by shipping the original impeller, in original Hayward packaging, such that it arrived several days before the estimated delivery date.I had the pool cleaner working again within ~4 days after it broke!Thanks and kudos to:1) Hayward (the manufacturer) for providing parts to help users keep all it's equipment going.2) The independent seller whom I am not naming here because I think Amazon prefers us not to, but for whom I will leave a separate seller review.3) Amazon for making all this possible!

Easy fix! Thought my vacuum was trash and I would have to buy another one. Turns out I only had to replace this part. Super easy to install and it fixed the problem. Getting another to be on standby.
