A great, if not, the best bang for the buck on Android smartphones (as 08/2014).
Well, i will start my review by saying that i live in a dangerous country, and i've lost around 6 phones by thiefs. So, i always have the pressure to buy a cheap but capable smartphone. I began my search for sixth time after my HTC One S was robbed, and i found the Moto G. I previously had a Motorola Photon back in 2011 and was a really bad investment. Motorola dropped the support a few months after the phone was launched, and the developer community never had much interest in it, so i was hesitant to invest in another Motorola phone, even knowing that the company was bought by Google in the meantime, but for $199 the phone had the best specs/money ratio and i pulled the trigger. Boy, how wrong i was. This phone is an excellent piece of hardware, and gets a lot better after the KitKat update (which pops up just after you connect the phone to your Wi-Fi network). The phone specs are the following: CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (Quad-core "Krait" @ 1.2ghz) GPU: Adreno 305 RAM: 1GB Storage: 8gb (w/ 4G LTE and SD card bay) or 16gb (3G without 4g and SD card bay). Screen: 720x1280 IPS LCD, 4.5", 326ppi. The phone comes, practically, without bloatware (a couple of Moto apps, which i honestly find quite useful). The OS interface is like a Nexus (Android stock), and the Adreno 305 have enough juice to offer fluid transitions on the menus and home screens. In the gaming department, although the Adreno 305 is a pretty capable GPU, don't expect a Galaxy S5 or M8 performance and visual quality. So, don't expect superb performance on intensive GPU games. Those games in the store which aren't GPU intensive will run smoothly. The multitasking is very good (of course always depends on the apps involved). I've been using Android since Froyo, and the memory management in Android gets better on every release and with KitKat this wasn't an exception. Although the phone only has 1GB of RAM, it does a good job and i hadn't noticed any slowdown or lag. Where this phone really shines is in it's battery life. It's wonderful. Finally, i can go through all the day without recharging in any point of it. Of couse, this depends on the usage. With normal use (chatting, composing and checking email, web browsing, calling) the battery will last until the end of the day without recharging, but don't expect this if you plan to play 2 or 3hrs at day. The GPU on this phone eats a lot of battery. Wrapping everything up, it's truly the best phone you can buy at this price point. It's simply unbeatable. I just hope that Motorola, since it's a Google company, keeps updating it. Please, be advised that the 16GB version doesn't have a SD card bay, so it's not possible to expand the storage.

Don't pay outrageous amounts of money for a phone.
I bought this phone a couple of weeks ago and wanted to get a feel for it before I wrote a review. I am not going to provide specs or test results in this review -- there are enough of those to go around -- but I will give my overall impressions of the phone. To start off, I have used both several IPhones and Android devices. Additionally, I do not do mass amounts of photography with my devices but do occasionally snap pictures. I am also not an avid gamer but do try out apps to see how they perform on given devices. Finally before I get started, this is a review for the LTE 8GB Model. I am completely satisfied with this phone due to: 1) the power of the processor; 2) smooth display; 3) memory slot; 4) battery sipper; 5) the price (most important). First, with regards to the power of the processor. Though this device doesn't have nearly the same power as a flagship phone or even compared to the Moto X, this has enough to handle what needs to be done. Every game that I have tried does well and I never have issues switching between applications. Second, having a decently processor results in an overall smooth and responsive display. No clunky or sticky display here. In addition to the smoothness of the display, the resolution is very nice (720x1280) and for the right size. I really don't care about having the phablet and at (4.5") this is pretty good. I remember going from an IPhone 3GS to a HTC Evo and thinking it was huge. The Moto G is 0.2" bigger than the EVO. I have learned to love the bigger phones but this is probably as big as I would like it. Third, I could never understand why memory upgrades one phones and tablets are so stinking expensive. This has an upgradable memory slot capable of taking a 32GB micro SD Card. You can get a class 10 micro SD Card for around $18. A lot cheaper than paying an extra hundred for the extra 16GB for an IPhone. Fourth, battery usage is one of the defining features of this phone. I am going two days between phone charges with moderate use. This is awesome. Finally, the most important factor is the price. I bought the LTE version and it is worth it. You lose 8GB but have the option to upgrade with Micro SD Card (see above). For $220, if you are looking for a new phone, this should be something you consider. Does it have all the bells and whistles and the latest hardware? No, but you have to ask yourself whether the bells and whistles are worth $480 ($700 - $220). Moral of the story, don't pay outrageous amounts of money for features on a phone that you will hardly use. This phone will do the job you need it to.

El producto llego antes de lo estimado y en muy buenas condiciones. Tal y como se describe es la version global de la primera generacion del Moto G, en su version de 16 GB. Un producto con buenas caracteristicas (es practicamente un nexus 4) y a muy buen precio.
