Cold water all summer!
I got these to use in the freezer in my RV, where having a lid is important when traveling. The lid goes on and off pretty easily. Since I am not as interested in perfect ice tubes as I am in not spilling as I drive, I tend not to fill it quite all the way.The fact that the ice fits nicely into any bottle is very useful.I use a 24 ounce insulated stainless water bottle most of the time. I put the ice from the entire tray into the bottle, and then top it off with water. The ice pops out of the tray very easily. The reason it is not 5 stars, is that they are slightly bowed. I would think if the goal was for a full set of perfectly rounded ice rods, it would be a challenge. I have only tried once to actually get perfect cubes, and about half of them were 'perfect' and the others were ok. (very usable, just not perfectly formed).

Great for sports water bottles
These are just the ice cube trays you need to fit your ice into water/bevearge bottles easily! I use mine foe biking and golf, dit right in to narrow screw top on my metal water bottles vs trying to cram regular ice cubes in there! You just have to be careful not to overfill, especially when stacking in your freezer. Great deal, would buy again, thank you!!

Smaller than thought
Really expected them to be bigger guess I was more focused on the picture than looking at the size. But they are cute, and petite. Easily stackable, and even comes with covers for each tray. But we don't use them. The price is high really for the size of these trays but, lesson learned for next time.

Versatile. Fits narrow soft drink necks but, I use them now, to make DOG TREATS for summer heat. Great Idea.
Had one already which was great for putting into bottled soft-drinks like iced-tea or lemonade. Plus, they're great for our DOG too. Started using it in the dead heat of summer to take in a small water bottle on walks, to keep water handy. Then I made special DILUTED MILK. ICE CUBES- Mix 1 part milk to 5 part water. Dogs who live milk will taste even a little milk in the long ice tubes. Then we tried Frozen Yoghurt and Frozen PEANUT BUTTER treats. They all work just great in these tubes. Instead of large cubes harder to chew and can cause choking if dog tries to swallow, these ice-tubes are so much easier for our dog to chew apart.Beside the DOG TREAT making advantages, the covers are a big plus in my mind. Keeps ice covered and cleaner in freezer. Who knew a different shaped ice "cube" would be so versatile?

Tube Ice cubes for bottles
The items do not come with instructions so it took some trial and error to figure them out. They work wonderful and I am enjoying them very much. I have learned to fill the bottom tray full of water then place the top one on and push it all the way down. After taking them out of the freezer, I run a little water on the top of them and let them sit for a few seconds then open them up... the ice cubes come out easier. Yes, you do have to bend and twist the tray like the old square ones for them to drop out. I usually let them onto a pan then place them in a baggie to keep in my freezer. I have not figured out how to keep them from freezing together once they are back in the freezer. So a lot of them freeze together and I have to gry to burst them apart.Over all I am extreemely statisfied with the product and highly recommend them. I even have placed them on my face book page to share with others so they can purchase them and try them too.

No issues evicting ice from the trays
So I haven't had an issue with getting the ice out of these things. I have never short filled it with water. I did have to poke the the vent holes that were not cleared of plastic from the molding process. (flashing) otherwise they make cylinders of ice. They are better then the trays that make the half cylinders by a miles. The fact that there is a lid is why makes these better.
