My daughter had developed a super dry itchy scalp. My great Aunt suggested this. I was hesitant, but should’ve trusted the wisdom of the Elders. This stuff works! I washed, and braided my girl’s hair and applied it directly to her scalp. Surprisingly, no complaints from her. I use it only on the scalp and have been applying a few days a week and her scalp has had a dramatic improvement. The bottle is smaller than I expected, but it lasts. Also, this light formula doesn’t have a super strong smell.

I'm using ny husband's acxount to review product. I have type 4 hair and was suffering from dry,itchy scalp and nothing worked until I tried sulphur8. This is the mild formula, and I was hesitant to purchase it at first because I thought I needed the regular strength formula to cure my scalp problems but I hated the scent of original so I gave this a shot. Boy! Am I glad I did!!! Love love love. Same great properties but without the pungent smell or sulphur!!! 10/10 would recommend. Please try if you have dry/itchy scalp!!

I tried the original sulfur before trying the light formula. I'm usually someone who isn't phased by certain things that other people complain about. I thought I could handle the sulfur scent. At first the original formula was bearable but when it came time to wash it out, the sulfur smell enhanced. I washed it twice in one day and my hair had a smell that was like a cloak. The next day I used dawn soap and that got rid of the left over oil. I then decided to try the light formula and it still smells. Maybe not as potent but there is still a smell. I returned it. Does sulfur work? Sure. Yes it does work but it smells.
