This is the best flux I have ever used. I buy un coated rods and heat them up with a propane torch and dip in powder. I do this 2 times the second time just lightly heat and you get a nice thick coating

Works great on steels, bronze and copper with silver alloys but especially nickel silver on steel. Makes it flow like a 45%. Great for stainless too.
